FM23 Instruction Manual FM Transmitter 1. Specifications Band: FM Frequency FM Frequency Range:88.1~107.9MHz FM Operating distance:15 feet USB Output:5V/2.4A MAX 2. Instruction: a. Plug the car charger into the car cigarette socket. b. Plug the 3.5mm audio adapter into your phone. c. Tune the car FM radio frequency to an unused FM frequency. d. Tune the FM transmitter into the same frequency with the car FM radio. e. Now you can enjoy your music through the car stereo. 3. Remark: a. Please select a FM frequency which is not used locally. b. If the noisy is too loud, please try other FM frequency. c. For the best audio quality, please turn the volume of the cellphone to the max level. d. The signal of any FM transmitter sometimes can be interfered by the surrounded radio or the similar frequency signal and cause noise. This is normal. e. It is normal that it will cause interference to the FM signal and cause some currency noise if there is a substation nearby. 4. Answering a call Press the “Answer” button of your phone. 5. Ending a call Press the “End” button of your phone. 6. Playing music Skip songs functions must be controlled directly by your audio device. Answer: Plug into IPod & Similar device and powered from Car Cigarette lighter.. 2) Provide information on the device and its antenna. Answer: The transmitter’s antenna is same cable as Power line from Car Cigarette, this is permanently attached antenna and meets the requirements of the section. 3) How is it installed? Answer: The EUT will direct plug into IPod unique connector. And power by DC12V or DC24V Car Power. 4) What test procedure was used? Answer: Operating condition is according to ANSI C63.10-2013 5) If tested in a car, how was it configured/tested? Answer: N/A 6) Was the tuning range properly verified? Answer: The test lab should indicate in the report that the tuning controls were manually adjusted to verify maximum tuning range. EUT was adjusted to work at the selected channels: 88.1 MHz, 98.1 MHz, and 107.9 MHz. The EUT will not allow operation below 88.1 MHz and will not allow operation above 107.9 MHz. 7) Was the bandwidth properly tested with maximum audio input? Answer: Emissions from the intentional radiator shall be confined within a band 200 kHz wide centered on the operation frequency. The 200 kHz band shall lie wholly within the frequency range of 88 – 108 MHz. Setup the EUT and simulators as shown in the report. Enable RF signal and confirm EUT active. Modulate output capacity of EUT up to specifications. 8) Provide the test report. Answer: Test Report Submitted.
