Labelling rules for special devices, please refer to §2.925, § 15.19 (a)(5) and relevant KDB publications. For E-label, please refer to §2.935. Information on test modes and additional testing requirements The OEM integrator is responsible for ensuring that the end-user has no manual instruction to remove or install the module. The module is limited to installation in mobile applications, a separate approval is required for all other operating configurations, including portable configurations with respect to §2.1093 and different antenna configurations. Test software to access different test modes: p2radio Testing item, frequencies, transmit power, modulation type can be selected following the test script instructions. The module is labeled with its own FCC ID. If the FCC ID is not visible when the module is installed inside another device, then the outside of the device into which the module is installed must also display a label referring to the enclosed module. In that case, the final end product must be labeled in a visible area with the following: ●“Contains FCC ID: 2AFXO-EUREKA” ●“Contains Transmitter Module FCC ID: 2AFXO-EUREKA” The OEM integrator is responsible for ensuring that no information is provided to the end user regarding how to install or remove the module or how to change RF related parameters. Class B Device Notice - Part 15B Compliance Requirements for Host product manufacturer This modular transmitter is only FCC authorized for the specific rule parts listed on our grant, the host product manufacturer is responsible for compliance to any other FCC rules that apply to the host not covered by the modular transmitter grant of certification. Host manufacturer in any case shall ensure the host product, in which the module is installed and operating, is compliant with Part 15B requirements. The EUT has integrated RF shielding. See EUT photo. 2. The modular transmitter must have buffered modulation/data inputs (if such inputs are provided) to ensure that the module will comply with Part 15 requirements under conditions of excessive data rates or over-modulation. The EUT transmitters employ integrated, on-chip digital modulators that are not under the direct influence of any external inputs. External inputs to the EUT are buffered. Please see the Schematic Diagram. 3. The modular transmitter must have its own power supply regulation. The EUT has its own power supply regulation. Please see the Schematic Diagram. 4. The modular transmitter must comply with the antenna and transmission system requirements of Sections 15.203, 15.204(b) and 15.204(c). The antenna must either be permanently attached or employ a “unique” antenna coupler (at all connections between the module and the antenna, including the cable). The “professional installation” provision of Section 15.203 is not applicable to modules but can apply to limited modular approvals under paragraph (b) of this section. The EUT meets the FCC antenna requirements; PCB trace antennas are integral to the EUT and permanently attached to the transceivers. The modular transmitter must be tested in a stand‐alone configuration, i.e., the module must not be inside another device during testing.
