Wolff Introduction Agent E Wireless Swing Handle 3000-U902-4X The Agent E Wireless is as yet the only swing handle based on wireless communication. Due to its wireless and thus cost-saving mounting it is most suitable for retrofitting in data centers. The authentication is performed by RFID or fingerprint. Highly-efficient power management guarantees a long battery life. Features • Wireless communication via wireless network 922 MHz (industry standard) • Control of up to 2,000 doors in a wireless network via access units and control unit • Authentication via 125 kHz or 13.56 MHz transponder cards or via fingerprint. Remote- controlled opening is also always possible • Handle type Wireless Slave does not have its own authentication and is unlocked in combination with master handle or by remote- controlled opening. Wolff States of the Locking System Factory Mode The AGENT E swing handle is delivered in an open position, protected by a suitable cover to avoid accidental closing. Batteries are packed separately in the accessory bag. On-Site-Mode “Stand Alone” First mount swing handle onto the door and insert AAA batteries into the housing. Position battery cover into place and fasten screw securely. Now push swing handle into its closed position. The AGENT E can now be opened with the corresponding card. At this time, there will be no wireless connection because the Access Units Wireless is not installed and configured yet. On-Site-Mode Radio Communication After the Access Units Wireless is installed and configured, the communication with the AGENT E will start automatically. Furthermore the AGENT E can still be opened with the corresponding card. The authorization of the card will be validated by the system before access is granted or denied if necessary. Wolff Opening The opening procedure in two steps: (1) Wake Up By default the swing handle is in an inactive mode to conserve energy. To reactive, touch round center button for min. 3 seconds until left green LED starts blinking. (2) Authorization with card As long as the left green LED blinks, the swing handle is able to read the provided card and the authorization process begins. Authorization is granted as soon as the green LED on the right side starts blinking. In case of a denied access the right LED will start blinking red.
