Once the golf ball is found, ‘Ready’ LED will turn green. 5 HITTING YOUR FIRST SHOT Once the SkyTrak + unit is connected and dis playing the red laser on the mat, plac e the golf ball or tee on the dot. Make su re the SkyTrak + unit is placed on the same levell as the hitting surface. Whe n a ball is it, the red laser will tur n off and you can view your data in the application. The red laser will turn on again when the unit ready for you to hit yo ur next s hot . 6 7 CARE INSTRUCTIONS SkyTrak + uses advanced optics that are behind the plastic window. Scratches and dust or other issues that impact the window quality may interfere with SkyTrak Plus operation. Keeping the window clean and scratch-free will ensure the measurement accuracy and longevity of your SkyTrak + system. You may purchase a carrying case to keep your SkyTrak + unit protected from www.skytrakgolf.com. To clean the plastic window, use a small amount of water and wipe with a clean cotton cloth in a single wipe. Do not use any chemicals to clean the window. TROUBLESHOOTING Problem Solution When charging, Power LED does not come on. Check if USB cable is connected to valid power socket. Power LED blinking red and unit turns off after 50 seconds. Battery is low. Connect the USB cable and charge the unit. The Power LED will turn GREEN when the unit is charged and device is in operational mode. It will turn AMBER if the device is in charging mode. Wi-Fi LED is not turning green, Make sure to start the application AFTER connecting to the unit's Wi-Fi to your device. The SkyTrak + unit LEDs show connected only when the application is open. Wi-Fi and Power LEDs are green, but Ready LED is red. Ball is not found. Ensure the SkyTrak + unit is placed correctly and not tilting. For the SkyTrak + unit to operate correctly, it must be placed perpendicular to the ground. Results seem inaccurate. Be sure to position the ball correctly on the red dot and make sure the unit sits level with the hitting surface. If using a tee, make sure the base of the tee is on the red dot. 8 DOWNLOADING THE APPLICATION Go to www.skytrakgolf.com from your smartphone, tablet, or computer’s browser to download and install the windows Application. 9 10 WARNINGS AND SAFETY INFORMATION FCC Regulatory Information This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Set the center frequency of the instrument to the center frequency of the transmission. Set RBW ≥ OBW if possible; otherwise, set RBW to the largest available value. Set VBW ≥ RBW. Set detector = peak or average. The zero-span measurement method shall not be used unless both RBW and VBW are > 50/T and the number of sweep points across duration T exceeds 100. (For example, if VBW and/or RBW are limited to 3 MHz, then the zero-span method of measuring duty cycle shall not be used if T ≤ 16.7 microseconds.) The transmitter output is connected to the Spectrum Analyzer. We tested according to the zero-span measurement method, 6.0(b) in KDB 558074 D01 DTS Meas Guidance v05r02. The largest availble value of RBW is 8 MHz and VBW is 50 MHz. The zero-span method of measuring duty cycle shall not be used if T ≤ 6.25 microseconds. (50/6.25 = 8) The zero-span method was used because all measured T data are > 6.25 microseconds and both RBW and VBW are > 50/T. The RF output of EUT was connected to the spectrum analyzer by RF cable and attenuator. The path loss was compensated to the results for each measurement. Set to the maximum power setting and enable the EUT transmit continuously. The EUT was operating in controlled its channel.
