2828 SW Corbett Avenue, Suite 135 Portland, OR 97201 FRN:0025398454 February 21, 2019 D ear Application Examiner: Element Materials Technology is submitting this application for original Equipment Authorization Certification for the AP-V1, FCC ID: 2AHZD-AP-Vl. The Op al movement monitor uses a 2.4 GHz DTS radio utilizing a GFSK 2Mbps mesh radio network between wearable Opal movement monitors, and between monitors and Opal "Access Poin ts" (Aps) which connect the Opal network to USB hosts. The radio within the device operates within the 2.4 GHz radio band with an 802.15.4 compliant antenna. The device can be configured with only one antenna which is permanently installed at the factory a nd is not accessible to the user. The Opal system's main microcontroller controls the output power of the radio through a digital interface and is never allowed to transmit above 0dBm. The enclosed technical reports and exhibits demonstrate compliance with FCC rules 47 CFR part 15.247 and RF Exposure requirements. You r efforts in reviewing this application are greatly appreciated. Regards, :107 Executive Vice President of Operations
