Proprietary and Confidential APDM Inc. Opal v1 Antenna Information The antenna used within the monitor v1 is a custom patch antenna. The antenna is permanently soldered to the monitor board, thus ensuring compliance with FCC 15.203. The frequency of the antenna is 2.4 GHz. The antenna is a PCB constructed on controlled dielectric substrate material. The topside of the monitor board acts as the ground plane to the antenna.
