Cognosos real time location system and Bluetooth (BLE) beacons provide a cost-effective solution to gain asset visibility. Easily installed BLE beacons allow facilities to create digital maps and experience better tracking reliability and accuracy than with legacy technologies. The Cognosos RB-300 BLE Beacon is a battery powered device that communicates with the RT-300 Tag to transfer data to the RadioCloud network. With its modular design and smart beacon software, the RB-300 provides an economical solution to a wide variety of asset tracking problems for healthcare, retail and manufacturing. The RB 300 is compatible with Cognosos’ range of web and mobile applications to manage devices, location assets and provide intelligence that improves utilization and workflow. The RB-300 is also compatible with Gozio Health products. RB-300 BLE beacons are installed in ceilings, parking decks and similar indoor structures. Location accuracy of 3 meters or better is achievable in most structures depending on the number and location of beacons. Programmable beacon rates allow facilities to transfer data more or less frequently (from once every 30 seconds to 10 times per second) depending on need. This also helps to increase battery life for facilities that do not need data transmission as often. Beacons include a battery status so you can determine when the battery must be replaced; two AA batteries are easily accessed through the sliding door on the back of the beacon.
