Users Manual

1. Slimtouch Slimtouch is a wireless keypad that can be used with the Box 98 to control window treatment devices. It has 6 touch-screen pads that can activate up to 6 automation scenes previously created on the Neocontrol Pro APP. Document version - v.01 www.neocontrolglobal.com This is a free manual and part of the product, thus, it can not be sold separately, copied or duplicated without the prior written permission of Neocontrol US LLC. To ensure safety, please read this manual carefully before installation and follow the instructions herein. Sensitive to humidity! The device must not come in contact with liquids or be exposed to excessive moisture environments. Recyclable product. Dispose appropriately in the proper facilities. Prior to installation, make sure that the power outlet of the place you are installing the device follows the instruction indicated on the device’s label. ENGLISH 2. Technical information • Power Supply: 2 battery 3V (CR2032) • Trigger up to 6 scenes • Does not require infrastructure • Low battery consumption • Data communication: RF command (only TX) • Compatible with Box 98; • Radio Frequency: 433.42 Mhz; • RF Signal Range : 80 ft; • Maximum RF signal power: 10mW • Operating temperature: -10°C to +70°C • Humidity: +5% to 95% non-condensing; Neocontrol US LLC. Copyright © 2019 All rights reserved. SLIMTOUCH 3. Sensitivity • Each time the batteries are inserted into the product, you can select the key sensitivity. When the batteries are inserted the 6 keys will light up sequentially, the keys will stay lit for 1 second. • When the batteries are inserted the device will allow you to adjust the sensitivity by clicking in one of the 6 pads. The first pad will set the highest sensitivity while the last sets the lowest sensitivity. • The product will blink the selected key confirming the selec- tion, if no key is touched it will keep the last configuration saved. This can be changed by repeating the process. 5. Registering the Slimtouch To register the keypad, use the Neocontrol Pro APP, and add a new device. Scan the QR code located on the upper right corner. Follow the APP instructions. Slimtouch is powered by 2 CR2032 batteries. To insert the battery proceed as follows: • Remove the cover. • Insert the batteries with the positive pole facing the wall. • Place the cover. 4. Battery Exchange www.neocontrolglobal.com Fragile. Handle the device carefully, avoid impacts. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules and Industry Canada license‐exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. The manufacturer is no t responsible for any radio or TV interference caused by unauthorized modifications or change to this equipment. Such modifications or change could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to pa rt 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, ther e is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the f ollowing measures: ‐‐ Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. ‐‐ Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. ‐‐ Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. ‐‐ Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
