Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth, DO NOT immerse the scale in water or use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents. • It is important to understand the meanings of the warning symbols in order to ensure a correct and safe use of the product and protect you and others from injury. You may find the meanings of the warning symbols, which you may see in the label or this user manual, as follow: Safety Instructions Always place the scale on a solid, level and flat surface to weigh. Always place the object to be weighed at the center of the weighing platform. Do not place any object on the weighing platform before switching the scale on. Keep the scale in a cool dry area. Symbol for “THE OPERATION GUIDE MUST BE READ” Symbol for “MANUFACTURER” Symbol for “ENVIRONMENT PROTEC- TION – Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice” Symbol for “DIRECT CURRENT” Symbol for “SERIAL NUMBER” The Bluetooth Combination Mark The display may be affected by electromagnetic disturbances such as radios, microwaves or cell phones.
