AudioFly Bluetooth Audio Transmitter / Receiver User Manual Version: v1.0 | Language: English © AudioFly. All rights reserved. 1. Overview AudioFly is a compact Bluetooth audio adapter designed to help you use wireless headphones with wired audio sources, and to stream audio from a phone wirelessly to a wired sound system. • TX (Transmit) mode: sends audio from a 3.5 mm headphone jack (airplane IFE, TV, treadmill, game console, etc.) to Bluetooth headphones/speakers. • RX (Receive) mode: receives audio from a phone/tablet via Bluetooth and outputs it to a 3.5 mm AUX input (car stereo, boat speakers, home audio, etc.). • Dual headphone sharing (Headphone 1 + Headphone 2): connect two Bluetooth headsets at the same time (TX mode). 2. What's in the Box Your AudioFly package typically includes: • AudioFly Bluetooth Adapter; • USB-A to USB-C Charging Cable; • International Airline Adapter (for dual-prong airplane jacks, if included in your package); • RCA male to 3.5mm female cable; • User Manual (may vary by package). 3. Product at a Glance Front view (see image on cover): Part / Control Description 3.5 mm plug Connects to a wired audio source (TX) or to an AUX input device (RX). Troubleshooting If AudioFly is not working as expected: • No sound (TX mode): Confirm AudioFly is in TX mode and fully inserted into the headphone jack. Make sure your headphones are connected (indicator solid). Try increasing volume on AudioFly and on the headphones. • No sound (RX mode): Confirm AudioFly is in RX mode and plugged into an AUX input (not a microphone jack). Check the car/home system is set to AUX. Confirm your phone is connected to “AudioFly”. • Cannot pair: Turn Bluetooth “OFF/ON” on, on your headphones/phone. Reset AudioFly (Section 6) and try pairing again. Keep devices within 1 meter during pairing. • Audio cuts out: Reduce distance and remove obstacles. Avoid placing AudioFly next to strong Wi‑Fi routers or microwave ovens. Low battery can also cause dropouts. • Low volume: Some in‑flight systems have low output. Increase volume on the source device if possible, or adjust volume on your headphones. Press the Volume + button on the AudioFly. 9. FCC 47CFR §2.1093 REQUIREMENT 2.1 TEST STANDARDS The limit for Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) specified in KDB 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06 is followed. The gain of the antennas used in the product is extracted from the Antenna data sheets provided and also the maximum total power input to the antenna is measured. Through the Friis transmission formula and the maximum gain of the antenna, we can calculate the distance, away from the product, where the limit of MPE is reached. Although the Friis Transmission formula is far field assumption, the calculated result of that is an over-prediction for near field power density. It is taken as worst case to specify the safety range. 2.2 LIMIT Approximate SAR Test Exclusion Power Thresholds at Selected Frequencies and Test Separation Distances are illustrated in the following Table. Report No.: LGT26A099HA01 Page 7 of 8 The 1-g and 10-g SAR test exclusion thresholds for 100 MHz to 6 GHz at test separation distances ≤ 50 mm are determined by: [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)] • [√f(GHz)] ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR,where f(GHz) is the RF channel transmit frequency in GHz. Power and distance are rounded to the nearest mW and mm before calculation The result is rounded to one decimal place for comparison The test exclusions are applicable only when the minimum test separation distance is ≤ 50 mm and for transmission frequencies between 100 MHz and 6 GHz. When the minimum test separation distance is < 5 mm, a distance of 5 mm is applied to determine SAR test exclusion.
