Operational Description

FST433 Operational Detail The following is the description for the FT-TGAI Model The FT-TGAI Tag is an active tag that continuously transmits a unique ID number, which can be detected by the FS1000 reader. The tag includes a 3 Axial accelerometer with 15 pre-set levels of sensitivity. It can be configured to provide a motion alarm on movement. The FT-TGAI uses a high-quality single circuit board digital Temperature, Relative Humidity and Ambient Light sensors. The sensors are calibrated at manufacture and due to its single board integrated nature does not require recalibration when kept in a clean environment. The tag includes the facility for decontaminating the sensors in the unlikely event that contamination occurs. An internal battery powers the tag and the patented ultra-low power use design ensures longer battery life at higher rates of transmission than any other brand of active RFID tag. Various pre- set transmission intervals are available. Features • Measures Ambient Light, Temperature and Relative Humidity with a high-quality calibration- free digital sensor • Programmable Tag ID, Repetition Rate, RF Power Level, Site or Customer ID • Wireless transmission on a 30 second interval: Motion, Anti-Tamper, Battery Voltage, Ambient Light and T-rH measurements. • The FT-TGAI Tag is equipped with an anti-tamper switch which, when used in conjunction with Fortecho rare-earth tamper contacts, will send an alarm on removal from an asset. Typical Applications The FT-TGAI Tag is ideally suited for protecting 3D objects and high value assets in display cases. Optimum read range is achieved on metal with a 10% reduction on non-metals.
