FCC Compliance Notice This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: ‐ Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. ‐Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. ‐Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. ‐ Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. FCC Radiation Exposure Statement This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment . This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. So the stand‐alone SAR evaluation is not necessary.

China Certification ICT Co., Ltd (Dongguan) Report No.: CR230632892-00A Page 90 of 90 5. RF EXPOSURE EVALUATION 5.1 Applicable Standard According to§15.247(i) and §1.1310, systems operating under the provisions of this section shall be operated in a manner that ensure that the public is not exposed to radio frequency energy level in excess of the Commission’s guideline. According to KDB447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06: The 1-g and 10-g SAR test exclusion thresholds for 100 MHz to 6 GHz at test separation distances ≤ 50 mm are determined by: [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)] ꞏ [√f(GHz)] ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR, where • f(GHz) is the RF channel transmit frequency i n GHz • Power and distance are rounded to the nearest mW and mm before calculation • The result is rounded to one decimal place for comparison • 3.0 and 7.5 are referred to as the numeric thresholds in the step 2 below The test exclusions are applicable only when the minimum test separation distance is ≤ 50 mm and for transmission frequencies between 100 MHz and 6 GHz. When the minimum test separation distance is < 5 mm, a distance of 5 mm according to 5) in section 4.1 is applied to determine SAR test exclusion. Wh en an antenna qualifies for the standalone SAR test exclusion of 4.3.1 and also transmits simultaneously with other antennas, the stand alone SAR value must be estimated according to the following to determine the simultaneous transmission SAR test exclusion criteria: 1) [ (max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW) / (min. test separation distance, mm)]·[√ f(GHz)/x] W/kg, for test separation distances ≤ 50 mm; where x = 7.5 for 1-g SAR and x = 18.75 for 10-g SAR. 2) 0.4 W/kg for 1-g SAR and 1.0 W/kg for 10-g SAR, when the test separation distance is > 50 mm. 5.2 Measurement Result Temple Tip Radio Frequency (MHz) Conducted Output Power Including Tolerance Distance (mm) Calculated value Threshold (1-g) SAR Test Exclusion (dBm) (mW) Left BDR/EDR 2402-2480 6.5 4.47 5 1.41 3 Yes Right BDR/EDR 2402-2480 7 5.01 5 1.583 Yes Note: The max conducted power including tune-up tolerance was declared by the manufacturer. The Left temple tip and Right temple tip can transmit simultaneously. SAR Left + SAR Right = 1.41/7.5 + 1.58/7.5 = 0.40 < 1.6 W/kg Result: Compliant. The SAR test is not necessary. ===== END OF REPORT =====
