ExcelsecuDataTechnologyCo.,Ltd. www.excelsecu.com 1.Packinglist ESCS-W30......1 ESCS-WD302.4GAdapter......1 UserGuide......1 2.Productinstruction 2.1.Howtouse ThedeviceisconnectedwiththehostthroughUSB cable.AftertheUSBpowersupplyisturnedon, thebuzzerwillwarningtoneandthelightwillflflash toindicatethattheinitializationissuccessfully,so itentersthecodescanningmode. Itcanalsobeconnectedtothehostvia USB2.4GAdapter.Atthistime,pressthebutton, thecodescanninggunwillstartautomatically, andthebuzzerwillringthe Startup prompttoneandthelightwillflashoncetoin dicate thattheinitializationissuccessfulandenter thecodescanningmode. Userscanscantheconfifigurationcodeto confifigureparameters,andabuzzerwillringafter successfulconfifiguration.(SeeChapter3ofthis manualfortheconfifigurationcodepicture) Thedevicewillshutdownautomatically afternooperationfor1minute. Whenthedeviceisturnedon,thedevicealignsthe barcodeorQRcodetobescanned(itisrecom mendedtokeepthedistanceabove3cm),and pressthebuttonuntilthecodescanned.Afterthe devicescansthecodesuccessfully,thebuzzer sounded,andthegreenindicatorwillflflashonce, indicatingthatthecodescanningissuccessful. 2.2.Maintenance Theshellofthedevicecanbewipedwithaclean softcloth.Ifneeded,usercanuseasmallamount ofdetergentaddtowater,andwipewithasoft cloth. Ifthedevicerespondsslowly,cleanthescanning areaintime.Stainsanddustonthescanningarea maylowereffiffifficiency.Whencleaning,theuser shouldusegoodfacialtissueandgentlywipe,If thepaperwithpoorpaperqualityisusedfor wiping,thesurfaceisdamagedanditwillreduce theeffiffifficiency 2.3Faulthandling Ifthedevicedoesnotworkproperly,perform asfollow: Ensurethatthedeviceisconnectedwith thehost.Checkwhetherthedatacableis correctlyconnectedwiththehost,which includeswhetheritisfirmlyconnectedand whethertheoriginaldatacableisused.
