Product Briefly introduction Boundary manager is mainly used for the exit management alarm of personnel and asset locate system. And it will send positioning frequency of 125KHZ which is a kind of low-frequency signal. When someone and assets pass through the exit without permission, the exit will send an alarm message and upload it to the server. The front side of the boundary manager show in Figure1. Receiving sensitivity: -100dBm 4. Monitoring distance: 2m ~ 5m 5. Atmospheric pressure: 86KPa-106KPa 6. Working temperature: -10 °C ~ + 85 °C 7. Working humidity: 10% ~ 90% RH without condensation 8. Power supply mode: POE power supply 48VDC / DC12V 9. Installation The positioning hole distance of the boundary manager is rectangular 82mmx141mm. The boundary manager is powered by POE. If POE is used, the communication gateway needs to support the POE function. The boundary manager needs to test the communication distance to determine the ideal installation position. It can also be installed against the wall. Notice that there must be no metal shields around the installation, otherwise it will affect the wireless reception effect. After the power is turned on, the working green light flashes at intervals. Optional wiring installation of acousto-optic access control, as shown in Figure 2 interface. 1 port is connected to the red positive pole of sound and light, and 2 port is connected to the black negative pole of sound and light. 3 port is connected to the negative pole of the access control, and 4 port are connected to the positive pole of the access control. The DC power connector is left unused. The network interface is connected to the POE switch. At the same time, the positioning distance adjustment interface is an optional distance, the side closest to the network port is the farthest distance, and the rear decreases in turn. 4. Instructions After the boundary manager is installed and powered on, you could check whether the device is normal through the work indicator (as shown in Figure 1). During normal operation, the green light flashes once every 1 second,and the red light flashes once to indicate that a frame of correct RFID information has been received. Positioning function, When there are assets or personnel passing through the area managed by the border manager, the positioning signal will be sent out inside the device. And when the device senses the positioning signal from tag , the positioning information will be uploaded. 5. Precaution 1. It is strictly forbidden to install the equipment in an environment with high temperature, dust, harmful gas, flammable, explosive, susceptible to electromagnetic interference, unstable voltage and large vibration. 2. The installation location need to be as concealed as possible, so as not to hinder daily work and life. 3. The POE power supply is DC48V. 3 6. Storage and transportation 1.Avoid splashing rain and direct sunlight. 2. Storage temperature (-40 °C -80 °C), relative humidity (5% -95%). 3. Avoid corrosive gas or salty air. 4. Avoid strong electric or magnetic fields. 5. There is no strong vibration and impact in the storage place. 6. The packing box is greater than 10cm from the ground and 50cm from the wall. 7.
