Vibration Prompt This two way radio is featured with vibration prompt. If no operation is input or no signal is received on this product for more than 10 seconds, the vibration will be enabled when thesignal is received for the first time after 10 seconds. If thesignal is interrupted during vibration, or the vibration lasts more than 3 seconds, the vibration will stop. (Note: If anothervibrationis needed after the first vibration, the vibrationwill be enabled when there is no operation for 10 seconds). Timeout Timer (TOT) (can be turned on/off through the PC programming software) The function of TOT is to prevent a person from using a channelfor too long. The time of TOT can be set through the PC programming software(it can be 15 seconds, 30 seconds to 600 seconds, with an interval of 15 seconds). If you transmit continuously until the time of TOT you set, the product will stop transmitting and give a long warning sound. To stop the warning sound, release [PTT]. When you press [PTT] again, the transmission can be restored. Scrambler/Compandor Scrambler/compandor can be set for each channel. The scramble level can be selected. When two two way radio require an encrypted talk, scrambler feature can be selected. Just use the same scramblelevel. Compandor feature can compress part of set signals to be transmitted effectively, transmit them to the other end and extend signals at the receiving end, thus maximizing the SNR of the system, greatly reducingenvironmental noise and improvingthe sound quality at the receiving end. VOX This product is featured with VOX. When voice is detected, it will switch to transmission automatically. The specific operationsare as follows: This feature is realized through the PC programming software. When VOX feature is ticked, it means VOX is enabled. When VOX feature is not ticked, it means VOX is disabled. The gain leveland delay time of VOX need to be adjusted through the PC programming software. Note: The higher gain level, the lower volume required by VOX (the gain levelcan be selected from 1 to 9). The largerdelay time, the longer time it takes to exit VOX (the delay time can be 0.5/1/1.5/2/2.5/3S). Battery Save If the dealer enables this feature, when no signal isreceived or no operation is input (with the key not pressed or “POWER/VOLUME” control knob not rotated), power consumption can be reduced. When the channel is not busy and no operation is input for 10 seconds, the battery save will be on. When a signal is received or an operation is input, the battery save will be off. Quite Tone (QT)/Digital Quite Tone (DQT) 50 sets of standard QT modules can be installed on this two way radio. Non-standard QT within60.0~260Hz can be added using the numeric keyboard.
