Open the rechargeable battery compartment lid. 2. Remove the long rechargeable battery (750 mAh). 3. Insert the short rechargeable battery (700 mAh) with the cable pointing to the right. Place the radio module loosely on the PCB. The contact pins only touch the contact points on the PCB. 5. Route the rechargeable battery cable at the side of the radio module and insert the plug. The cable fixes the radio module. 6. Close the rechargeable battery compartment lid. 7. Set the Date and Time (Xplorer plus only). The pipette is prepared for radio communication with the control panel (VisioNize pipette manager). WARNING! Personal injury due to incorrect handling of the rechargeable battery. Only use rechargeable batteries supplied by Eppendorf. Never pierce, crush or throw the rechargeable battery. Only use the rechargeable battery in the supplied device. Do not touch a leaking rechargeable battery. Do not use a damaged rechargeable battery. Dispose of rechargeable batteries in accordance with the legal requirements. How to charge the rechargeable battery is described in the pipette's operating manual (chapter 5.1 Charging the rechargeable battery).
