Insert TF card. 2. Install the base into the recorder slot and slide it upwards until you hear a "click" sound, which indicates that the installation is complete. Button Functions APP Installation TF Card Usage Guide Important Function Description 1. Specifications: Supports 32GB‒256GB capacity with Class 10 or higher speed rating. U se high-speed TF cards from reputable brands. Low-quality TF cards may cause abnormal video recording or TF card failure. Format the card via the dash cam after initial insertion. Back up important data beforehand (formatting erases all content). Format monthly to maintain read/write performance. Avoid inserting or removing the card while the dash cam is powered on. Replace the card immediately if it experiences read/write errors or abnormal capacity due to repeated overwriting. 1. Loop recording: The oldest video will be overwritten when the TF card is full so that can keep recording over and over. The loop recording duration can be adjusted in the app(1/2/3 min). 2. G-sensor: When the vehicle experiences a collision and vibrates, the dash cam will automatically start emergency video recording and lock the video. 3. Packing mode(additional Hardwire kit required): When the dash cam is connected to the hardwire kit, it enables 24-hour parking surveillance. In this mode, the dash cam will automatically start recording and lock the video upon detecting a collision. 4. Time-lapse(additional Hardwire kit required): After correctly connecting the hardwire kit, enable this feature via the app to a chieve 24-hour continuous monitoring. The 30-minute video will be compressed to 1 minute for saving space. 5. Built-in GPS: Record the driving track,calibrate the time,and detect the speed,ensuring the accuracy of the accident evidence. 6. Voice control: During the operation of the dash cam, simply speaking the voice command can trigger the corresponding function. Voice commands support English, Japanese, French, Russian, Thai, and Vietnamese. For other languages, please use English commands. 3.Routine Maintenance: 2. Initial Setup: 1. Download APP "KAWA AUTO" by scanning the QR code. 2. Open the APP "KAWA AUTO", click on the "+" in the upper right corner, select "KAWA Dash Cam D7" , and follow the instructions in the APP to operate. 3. Connect your phone to the dash cam's hotspot. • Hotspot Name: KAWA_D7_XXXX • Default Password: 12345678 N ote: (1) If VPN is enabled, please disable it before connecting to the dashcam. (2) If you forget the password, you can reset the device and then connect using the default password. Operate Turn the dash cam off (when the power supply is connected) Turn the dash cam on or turn the screen on/off Turn on/off the audio recording or switches camera between front and rear. The power cord can be routed according to the instructions in the image. 1.For installation, position the camera on the vehicle's rear window as shown in the diagram below. 2 .For rear camera mounting, apply the small electrostatic sticker. 3.For better visibility of the view behind the vehicle, please refer to the pictures below for the placement of the electrostatic sticker. Before installation, make sure to clean the window thoroughly. 5. Place the dash cam at the center of the large-sized electrostatic sticker and press firmly to secure it. To ensure optimal user experience, video clips are limited to 3 minutes when recording with a 256GB memory card. Please use the original car charger, USB cable, or Hardwire Kit provided with the device (the Hardwire Kit is sold separately). If using non-original accessories, ensure the output voltage does not exceed 5V, as higher voltage may damage the device. Do not install in high-temperature, humid, or wet areas (e.g., near heaters, vents, or doors). Do not install where it obstructs the driver’s view, interferes with v ehicle safety systems (e.g., airbags, hazard lights), or impairs safe operation. This device is used to record the surrounding environment but does not enhance driving safety. The manufacturer is not responsible for accidents, data loss, or misuse. Performance may vary due to vehicle condition, driving environment, or external factors. Power loss, extreme temperatures, collisions, or TF card issues may result in recording failure.
