Users Manual

Part A. Installation and Troubleshooting Ecoer Smart Inverter Unitary systems come equipped with remote monitoring and self-diagnostics technology designed to save dealers’ time when installing and servicing. Be sure to turn off the power supply for condensing unit prior to install the IoT device. Refer to the following steps to install this device. 01.To keep the best wireless network connectivity, choose one side of condensing unit that is further away from the wall to hang the IoT device. Use screw to tighten the device and belts to tie up the cable. 1-A 1-B1-C The 1st row of panel Unscrew the cable locker cap and securely fasten the waterproof joint to the reserved hole (plug has to be removed). 02. Plug the male blue terminal into CN11 (IoT) connector on main control board of condensing unit. 03. 2-C2-A Unscrew the locker cap 2-D2-B Remove reserved plug Power ON the condensing unit and check if the IoT device is working properly. The normal working state of IoT device should be the blue LED (No.1) is blinking with other LEDs light OFF. No. 1 2 3 Blue Red Green IoT Device status Connection to Gateway Connection to Local Unit Always OFF Power off Always ON Booting Blinking Running Always OFF Gateway connected Always ON Booting Blinking Gateway disconnected Always OFF Local Unit connected Always ON Booting Blinking Local Unit disconnected ColorIndications.Description LEDs Check the No.1 LED display after power ON for 40 seconds. The IoT device boots failed. Replace a new one instead. Check if the IoT cable is securely connected with PCB of condensing unit. Replace PCB of condensing unit. The problem disappears after replace IoT device. 1. Confirm the gateway is powered on and connected to the router accessed to internet. 2. Register the device 3. Adjust the position of gateway or device to make sure they can communicate Check the display of No.3 LED after two (2) minutes. Check the display of No.2 LED after ten (10) minutes.
