It can deal with various complicated scenes autonomously. 1 ENEN 56 No more need to collect grass clippings NOVABOT leaves short clippings after mowing. There is no need to collect them, they will become fertilizer for the lawn. Schedule You can set mowing schedules and security schedules in NOVABOT APP so that NOVABOT can mow the lawn automatically or enable watchdog mode on a regular basis according to the schedules. 78 Watchdog mode NOVABOT will start security patrols near the door when you need them. (such as: When you are on vacation/business trip or daily night, you can set watchdog mode. NOVABOT will turn on the flashing lights, whistle, and take real-time photos of the possible situations near the door and push them to app users.) PIN code protection The PIN code is used to prevent being stolen and operated by children or unauthorized people. When there is a machine malfunc- tion or the STOP button is pressed, NOVABOT will lock itself. You can unlock it by entering the PIN code. 34 Obstacle avoidance NOVABOT can detect obstacles using AI cameras, avoiding interference from them. You can set the obstacle area in NOVABOT APP to avoid the machine driving in and affecting normal work. Autonomous charging When the battery is low, NOVABOT will pause the task autono- mously and go back to the charging station to charge itself. When fully charged, NOVABOT will resume the unfinished mowing task of the day or stay in the charging station according to its mowing schedule. Multi-map mowing NOVABOT can create multiple maps (currently supports up to three maps). And NOVABOT can choose to mow one lawn or mow several lawns in sequence. It can intelligently plan the mowing path and complete the mowing task. 12 Intelligent mowing NOVABOT also has the ability for intelligent mowing, using panoramic vision, inertial navigation, RTK positioning, and visual perception technology to achieve intelligent mapping, charging, mowing, and obstacle avoidance functions. NOVABOT also can adjust the mowing height to meet users' personalized needs. AI 2 Safety First WARNING Who can't use this product 1. Never allow children, people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, or people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the machine, local regulations may restrict the age of the operator. 2.Not to allow children to be in the vicinity or play with the machine when it is operating. Where this product can't use 1.Only use this product in the ways described in this manual. 2.Never leave anything that can be climbed over by product in the working area which may cause damage to the product or injury to people. 3.Keep any supply and extension cords away from the working area to avoid damage to the cords which can lead to contact with live parts. 4.When used in public areas, warning signs shall be placed around the working area of the machine. They shall show the substance of the following text: " Warning! Automatic lawnmower! Keep away from the machine! Supervise children!". When this product can't use 1.Avoid using the machine and its peripherals in bad weather conditions, especially when there is a risk of lightning. 2.Timely check the working area to remove any foreign objects that may damage the product or be damaged by the product. 3.Timely inspect the product to make sure it's in good condition. Never operate a machine with a defective guard, a worn blade or a damaged cord, or any lost parts. And do not connect a damaged cord to the supply or touch a damaged cord before it is disconnected from the supply. 4.Only use peripherals that come with the original product, such as battery, charger. Any unofficial peripherals may lead to unexpected results. What should be done to this product 1.Recommend connecting the peripherals only to a supply circuit protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping current of not more than 30 mA. 2.Turn off the product and remove the plug from the mains before the following operations. A.Lifting up the product or carrying it. B.Any assembly or disassembly of the machine that is allowed in this manual, such as changing blades, and battery. C.Clearing a blockage on the machine. D.Checking, cleaning or working on the machine or charging station. E.If the machine starts to vibrate abnormally, check for damage before restarting. 3. Press the STOP button immediately in case of abnormal vibrations and carefully check if there is anything stuck under the product. Clear it and restart the product. Mapping Obstacle area •When mapping the obstacle area, the distance from the obstacle boundary is not less than 1M. 1 After saving the working area, the APP will automatically enter the obstacle area mapping interface. Or open the lawn interface entered by NOVABOT APP and choose “Add obstacle”. 2Follow the instructions of the APP to remotely control the arrow keys, and the border of the interface will turn red. 3 Remotely control NOVABOT to return to the starting point of mapping, and complete the mapping. The border of the interface turns green, and saves the obstacle area. Mapping channel area •When mapping the channel area, the width shall not be less than 1M if it is a narrow passage. •To ensure mowing accuracy, when mapping multiple working maps, please keep the distance between the maps greater than 0.5M. •When mapping channel area, the straight-line distance between mowing areas shall not exceed 10M. 17 EN ATTENTION ATTENTION >1m >1m 1m ATTENTION •When you have 2 or more working areas, you can create a channel area to connect them. •1 After mapping 2 or more working areas, the App will ask whether to map the channel area. Or Open the “Lawn” interface entered by NOVABOT APP. Choose “Add channel area”. •2 Remotely control NOVABOT from the border of map A to the border of map B. Up to 6 digits and letters. •Please always make sure that the identification mark on the charging station is not blocked and stained. •If you need to adjust your mowed or obstructed areas, you can edit/delete/add relevant areas in the "Lawn" interface of the app and then remap the area. 5.2 Fast mowing •Before mowing, please remove personal items. (eg: outdoor items, toys, rocks, branches, etc.) •Keep the grass height below 11cm before running NOVABOT.Grass over 11cm may be recognized by NOVABOT as an obstacle, resulting in missed cutting. Please cut it manually first. 1 Click Start on the main interface to enter the fast mowing. 2 Select the mowing height. 3Start fast mowing. 18 EN 333 Cutting height2.2 inch work map All map Tips •NOVABOT requires 50% more power in front of the lawn. •When the power of NOVABOT is too low during mowing, the machine will automatically return to the charging station to charge and push the information to the APP. After the charging is completed, the lawnmower will continue to mow the grass until the mowing work on the map is completed. 5.3 Schedule 1. Open the schedule interface of NOVABOT APP. 2. Select a map. 3. Set working hours (mowing/security). 4. NOVABOT starts working (mowing/security) according to the set time. Tips •Mowing mode and watchdog mode can not be carried out at the same time. •Currently NOVABOT can only set a maximum of three time periods per day. (including mowing and security, including all maps). •When the power of NOVABOT is lower than 20% during work (mowing/security), it will automatically return to the charging station to charge, and continue working after the charging is completed. •If the charging is completed in the middle of the work, and the current time is not in the working schedule, it will no longer be carried out. 19 EN EN 6 About Security 6.1 Watchdog Mode A.Watchdog function setting Open the schedule function of the APP, and set the watchdog mode for NOVABOT at the scheduled time. B.How to set watchdog mode area When you start mapping in the app, NOVABOT will automatically set the area of 3.5 meters near the center of the charging station as the watchdog area. Please confirm whether this range is your ideal watchdog area before installing the charging station. •Patrol work and mowing work can not be carried out at the same time. Please plan the work schedule of NOVABOT reasonably. •If there is an obstacle area within the patrol range, NOVABOT will still automatically avoid obstacles during patrol work. •To keep the network stable when NOVABOT is working, the 3.5-meter radius area is a fixed setting area, and you can not expand or shrink this area. Details can be viewed on the lawn management interface. •If you don't need this function, just don't set the schedule in the NOVABOT app. This operation does not have any impact on daily mowing work. 6.2 PIN Code protection 1.When you turn on NOVABOT for the first time, you need to manually set the PIN code on the machine. 2.When you forget your PIN code, you can check it on the personal information interface of the APP. 3.When you need to change the PIN code, you can change it on the personal information interface of the APP. 4.When NOVABOT shuts down automatically for some reason. After restarting, you need to manually enter the PIN code on NOVABOT to start. 5.When the wrong PIN code is entered more than 5 times, NOVABOT will be automatically locked. At this time, you will receive a message notification. You can unlock it on the APP, and check the correct PIN code on the personal information interface. •To protect NOVABOT's security, it is not recommended to use 4 same numbers as the PIN code. •When changing the PIN code, NOVABOT needs to be turned on and the GPS and home Wi-Fi are connected normally. •When using the APP to unlock NOVABOT, it needs to be turned on and the GPS and home Wi-Fi are connected normally.
