RF Exposure Info

FCC RF Exposure EUT Description: HTC Wireless Headphones 12 Model No.: HTC HP12 FCC ID: 2BPQF-HTCHP12 1. Limits According to KDB 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06 The 1‐g and 10‐g SAR test exclusion thresholds for 100 MHz to 6 GHz at test separation distances ≤50 mm are determined by: [(max power of channel, including tune‐up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)]ꞏ[√f(GHz)]≤3.0 for 1‐g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10‐g extremity SAR, Where: Result=P/D*√F F= the RF channel transmit frequency in GHz P=Maximum turn‐up power in mw D=Min. test separation distance in mm 2. Test Result of RF Exposure Evaluation Frequency (MHz) Output power (dBm) Tune Up Power (dBm) Max Tune Up power dBm/mW Min test separati on distance mm Result Limit SAR Test Exclusion 2480 3.81 3±1(4) 2.512 5 0.791 3.0 Pass 2480 4.51 4±1(5) 3.162 5 0.996 3.0 Pass Note: PK Output power= conducted power. Conducted power see the test report HK2606100618-1E/2E, antenna gain=1.68dBi; Per KDB 447498 D01, when the minimum test separation distance is < 5 mm, a distance of 5 mm is applied to determine SAR test exclusion. The test exclusion threshold is 0.996 which is<= 1, SAR testing is not required. Note: Exclusion Thresholds Results=[(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)] ꞏ[√f(GHz)] f(GHz) is the RF channel transmit frequency in GHz Distance=5mm

Page 41 of 50 Report No.: HK2606100618-1E 4.9 Conducted Spurious Emissions 4.9.1 Applied Procedures / Limit In any 100 kHz bandwidth outside the frequency band in which the spread spectrum or digitally modulated intentional radiator is operating, the radio frequency power that is produced by the intentional radiator shall be at least 20 dB below that in the 100 kHz bandwidth within the band that contains the highest level of the desired power, based on either an RF conducted or a radiated measurement, provided the transmitter demonstrates compliance with the peak conducted power limits. If the transmitter complies with the conducted power limits based on the use of RMS averaging over a time interval, as permitted under paragraph (b)(3) of this section, the attenuation required under this paragraph shall be 30 dB instead of 20 dB. For below 30MHz, For 9KHz-150kHz,150K-10MHz, We use the RBW 1KHz,10KHz, So the limit need to calculated by “10lg(BW1/BW2)“. For example For 9KHz-150kHz, RBW 1KHz, The Limit = the highest emission level-20-10log(100/1) = the highest emission level-40. 4.9.2 Test Procedure a. The EUT was directly connected to the spectrum analyzer and antenna output port as show in the block diagram below. b. Span = wide enough to capture the peak level of the emission operating on the channel closest to the band edge, as well as any modulation products which fall outside of the authorized band of operation, RBW  1% of the span, VBW  RBW, Sweep = auto, Detector function = peak, Trace = max hold. 4.9.3 Deviation from Standard No deviation. 4.9.4 Test Setup EUT SPECTRUM ANALYZER Page 42 of 50 Report No.: HK2606100618-1E 4.9.5 Test Results 1M: CH00 Page 43 of 50 Report No.: HK2606100618-1E 1M: CH19 Page 44 of 50 Report No.: HK2606100618-1E 1M: CH39 Page 45 of 50 Report No.: HK2606100618-1E 2M: CH00 Page 46 of 50 Report No.: HK2606100618-1E 2M: CH19 Page 47 of 50 Report No.: HK2606100618-1E 2M: CH39 Page 48 of 50 Report No.: HK2606100618-1E 5 Test Setup Photos of the EUT Radiated Emission Page 49 of 50 Report No.: HK2606100618-1E AC Conducted Emission RF Conducted Emission Page 50 of 50 Report No.: HK2606100618-1E 6 Photos of the EUT Reference to the report: ANNEX A of external photos and ANNEX B of internal photos. ---------End of test report---------
