PositioningtheWirelessoutdoorTransmitter: OncetheForecastStationshowstheoutdoortemperature,placeitandthe transmitterinthedesiredlocationsandwaitapproximately1-hourbefore permanentlymountingthetransmittertoensurethatthereisproperreception. Thetransmittershouldbemountedvertically,inashaded,protectedarea,at least1.3mfromthegroundtoavoiddamageandensureaccuratereadings. Thetransmitteriswaterresistant,notwaterproofandshouldnotbeplaced anywhereitwillbecomesubmergedinwaterorsubjecttostandingwateror snow. WALLMOUNT: 1.Chooseashadedlocationwithanoverhangforthetransmitter,thatiswithintheconfirmedwireless receptionrangeoftheForecastStationforaccuracy. 2.Installonemountingscrew(notincluded)intoawallleavingapproximately1/2ofaninch(12.7mm) extended. 3.Placethehanginghole(onthebackofthetransmitter)ontothemountingscrewandgentlyslidethe transmitterdownontothemountingscrewtosecureitintoplace.
