Intended use The Beacon Lite serves as a small low power battery powered beacon device that is used to trigger a specific action on the Guide-ID Podcatcher Audio Guide. It is intended be used as indicated below. UseDescription MountingTabletop or wall mounted PowerBattery powered (CR2032) Temperature range0–45°C Altitude2000 m or less It is equipped with a Bluetooth Low Energy radio that is generally only used to send periodic advertisements. 2 id-man01 2. Safety Information Please read all safety instructions carefully before using this product. Retain these instructions for future reference. 2.1 General Safety •Use this product only for its intended purpose as described in this manual. •Do not use this product if it appears damaged or malfunctions. •Keep the product away from liquids and moisture unless otherwise specified. •Do not attempt to repair or modify this product yourself. Contact Guide-ID for service. 2.2 Battery Safety This product contains a coin / button cell battery. Observe the following precautions: •Do not ingest battery, Chemical Burn Hazard. If the coin / button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death. •Keep away new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention. •Use only a CR2032 coin cell battery for your device. Using other battery types may cause malfunctions or damage and could void the product warranty. 2.3 Disposal and Recycling This product contains a coin / button cell battery and electronic components that require special disposal: •Do not dispose of this product in household waste.
