Cleaning Dust from Intake and Exhaust Ports Dust in the intake and exhaust ports can hinder ventilation, causing an increase in internal temperature and leading to malfunctions. Cleaning guidelines: Clean at least once every 10000 hours of use. Turn off the power, then disconnect the power cord. Clean the exterior with an electric vacuum cleaner, fitting a brush adapter on the vacuum cleaner.
