Product Overview & Key Features At Safewave, we believe everyone deserves to feel connected to their world effortlessly. The Safewave Band transforms everyday mobile notifications into a gentle, customizable touch on your wrist—so you always stay in the loop without ever having to look down. Key Features That Fit Your Life: • Universal Compatibility: Syncs with any notification on iOS or Android. • Customizable Touch: Adjust vibration strength (1–100) and choose 1–5 taps per alert. • Seamless Style: Wear it on its own or alongside your Apple Watch. 2. What’s in the Box? Welcome to the Safewave experience! Inside your package, you’ll find: • Safewave Band: Ready to connect you to your world. • Charging Cable & Adapter: To keep you powered up. • Safewave Adapter: For easy wear. 3. Getting Started Let’s get you set up quickly! • Charging: Fully charge your band before the first use (about 50–80 minutes). A full charge lasts 2–3 days depending on notifications. • Power On: Press the power button once. You’ll feel two strong vibrations. • Power Off: Hold the power button for 3 seconds. You’ll feel a soft vibration. • Hard Reset: Hold the power button for 30 seconds if needed. 4. App Setup & Functionality Connect your Safewave Band in just a few steps: 1. Download the Safewave App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. 2. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone. 3. Open the Safewave App and follow on-screen instructions to pair. Approve the “Pair” and “Allow” pop-ups (especially on iOS). 4. Android users: Keep the app running in the background for reliable alerts. 5. Customizing Alerts & Sensitivity Make your Safewave Band truly yours: • Adjust vibration strength anywhere from a gentle tap to a firm nudge (1–100). • Choose how many times it vibrates per alert (1–5). • Works even if your phone is on Do Not Disturb mode. 6. Daily Use & Best Practices For the best experience, wear your Safewave Band with the ridges on the underside of your wrist and the adapter piece or Apple Watch face on top—just like any watch. Think of the app as your remote control: even if the band doesn’t show as connected, your settings are saved and the band will keep working as programmed. 7. Troubleshooting & FAQs Got a hiccup? Let’s fix it fast: • Band not appearing in the app? Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings, forget the Safewave Band, then reconnect and approve “Pair” and “Allow”. • Weak or delayed vibrations? Recharge the band and check you’re within 30 feet of your phone. • Need a reset? Hold the power button for 30 seconds. 8. Safety & Compliance Your Safewave Band is built for everyday life: waterproof for showers and pools, and works best within 30 feet of your phone. We follow standard safety guidelines to keep you connected and safe. 9. Maintenance & Care To clean, simply rinse with warm water—it’s waterproof. When the battery is low, you’ll feel a strong long vibration and the red light will turn off. Place it on the wireless charger with ridges facing up so you can see the light. The red light blinks while charging. Use the app to check battery level. Full charge takes ~50–80 minutes (light stays on even when full). 10. Warranty & Support Your Safewave Band comes with a 3-month warranty for manufacturing defects and 30-day returns for unused or defective products. Need help? Contact us at [email protected]. 11. FCC 47CFR §2.1093 REQUIREMENT 2.1 TEST STANDARDS The limit for Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) specified in KDB 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06 is followed. The gain of the antennas used in the product is extracted from the Antenna data sheets provided and also the maximum total power input to the antenna is measured. Through the Friis transmission formula and the maximum gain of the antenna, we can calculate the distance, away from the product, where the limit of MPE is reached. Although the Friis Transmission formula is far field assumption, the calculated result of that is an over-prediction for near field power density. It is taken as worst case to specify the safety range. 2.2 LIMIT Approximate SAR Test Exclusion Power Thresholds at Selected Frequencies and Test Separation Distances are illustrated in the following Table. Page 7 of 8 Report No.: STS2512456H01 The 1-g and 10-g SAR test exclusion thresholds for 100 MHz to 6 GHz at test separation distances ≤ 50 mm are determined by: [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)] • [√f(GHz)] ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR,where f(GHz) is the RF channel transmit frequency in GHz. Power and distance are rounded to the nearest mW and mm before calculation The result is rounded to one decimal place for comparison The test exclusions are applicable only when the minimum test separation distance is ≤ 50 mm and for transmission frequencies between 100 MHz and 6 GHz. When the minimum test separation distance is < 5 mm, a distance of 5 mm is applied to determine SAR test exclusion.
