QUICK-START GUIDE 1 ▶ Inserting the battery and SD card Format the memory card When you insert the memory card into the camera for the first time, be sure to format it using this camera. Press the [MENU] button →press /button to select [Settings] → press the [OK] button → press /button and the confirmation button to select [Format memory card] → select [Yes].
