Applicant: Samsung Electronics Co Ltd FCC ID: A3LML-NWA65L No. FCC requirements 1 Have its own RF shielding RF Block shielded by Metal Case 2 Have buffered modulation/data inputs (if such inputs are provided), Yes, the module has buffered data input. 3 The modular transmitter must have its own power supply regulation. We used self own power supply regulation. 4 Meet the antenna requirements of section 15.203 This module uses chip antenna. This module meets the antenna requirements of section 15.203 5 Be tested in a stand-alone configuration, i.e., the antenna, AC or DC power and data input/output lines must be connected to the module but, the module must not be inside another case during testing Yes, the EUT (module) was tested a stand alone configuration. 6 Be labeled with its own FCC ID number, and if the FCC ID is not visible when the module is installed inside another device, then the outside of the device into which the module is installed must also display a label referring to the enclosed module. The proposed FCC ID label format is to be placed on the module. If FCC ID label is not visible when module is install into the system, β€œContains FCC ID: A3LML-NWA65L” shall be placed on the outside of final product. 7 The modular transmitter is manufactured so that the user can not influence the operation of the transmitter that will operate outside of the scope of the regulations. It complies with specific rules or operating requirements. And instruction is included User manual. 8 Address compliance with the Commission`s RF exposure limits in Sections 1.1310 and 2.1093. In addition, spread spectrum transmitters operation under Section 15.247 are required to address RF exposure compliance in accordance with Section 15.247(b)(4) The output power of this device is much lower than the low threshold (60/f mW) of General Population which requires SAR. I send the revised documents of AN10T0759 project. And I reply to your e-mail. If you have any question and need information, please let me know. And I would be grateful if you could issue the certificate as soon as possible. I am so sorry that I always inquire to issue a certificate ASAP. Have a good day~! Best regards, Will 1. The RF Test report has not been submitted (test setup photos were submitted). It is likely that many of the questions below may be clarified by the submittal of the test report, but I will ask them anyway. Please submit the RF test report. => please check the attached file. 2. The Internal/External photos show a device with a black enclosure, into which the EUT module has been installed, the label location exhibit shows the label on the outside of the black enclosure, but the Operational Description and Manual show just the internal PCB as the device. Please clearly identify the EUT and ensure that the labeling is on the EUT and the EUT was tested in stand-alone configuration as required for modules. => the label is attached on the EUT as label location file. 3. Some documentation shows a 40MHz channel capability, but other documents only show a 20 MHz channel capability. Please confirm the capability of this device (and ensure it was tested for these capabilities). => This device only supports a HT20 of 802.11n. Not HT40. 4. Please confirm if the 2nd antenna is used only for receive diversity. The Block Diagram shows an Antenna Select and DPDT switch. Can either or both antennas transmit? Which antennas were tested? => Simultaneous transmission is not supported. But a transmitting antenna is selected by RX diversity.(They call "TX diversity".) All the test items were performed at Antenna 1 and Antenna 2. And the worst case data were reported in the revised test report. 5. The Users Manual indicates that this module shall be installed with 20 cm separation. Please provide an RF Exposure MPE calculation exhibit for this device showing compliance at the 20 cm minimum separation distance. 2 -----Original Message----- From: Chris Harvey [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Chris Harvey Sent: Thursday, August 19, 2010 9:13 PM To: [email protected]; [email protected]; '이원정' Cc: [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: RE: Samsung Electronics Co Ltd , FCC ID: A3LML-NWA65L, Assessment NO.: AN10T0759, Notice#1 Will, I just want to be sure you have received this e-mail request for the TCB application as well. After the trace being stable, Use the marker-to-peak function to set the marker to the peak of the emission. Use the marker-delta function to measure 6dB down one side of the emission. Reset the marker-delta function, and move the marker to the other side of the emission, until it is (as close as possible to) even with the reference marker level. The marker-delta reading at this point is the 6 dB bandwidth of the emission. The spectrum analyzer is set to: Center frequency = the highest, middle and the lowest Frequencies Span = 50 MHz (Greater than EBW) RBW = 100 kHz Sweep = auto VBW = β‰₯ RBW Detector function = peak Trace = max hold - Measurement Data: Comply Test Mode Frequency Transmitting Antenna Test Results (MHz) 802.11b Lowest Ant 2 7.40 Middle Ant 2 7.60 Highest Ant 2 8.20 802.11g Lowest Ant 1 15.80 Middle Ant 1 15.80 Highest Ant 1 15.80 802.11n HT20 Lowest Ant 1 17.05 Middle Ant 1 15.8…
