Those guidelines are consistent with the safety standard previously set by both U.S. and international standards bodies. The design of this phone complies with the FCC guidelines and these international standards. Use only the supplied or an approved antenna. Unauthorized antennas, modifications, or attachments could impair call quality, damage the phone, or result in violation of FCC regulations. Do not use the phone with a damaged antenna. If a damaged antenna comes into contact with the skin, a minor burn may result. Please contact your local dealer for replacement antenna. Body-worn Operation This device was tested for typical body-worn with the back of the kept phone placed 0.6 inches (1.5cm) from the body. To comply with FCC RF exposure requirements, a minimum separation distance of 0.6 inches (1.5cm) must be maintained between the userÌs body and the phone, including the antenna, whether extended or retracted. The use of third-party belt-clips/holsters with no metallic components that provide the minimum separation distance of 0.6 inches (1.5cm) can be used to satisfy FCC RF exposure requirements. The use of non-tested accessories or other body-worn operations may not comply with FCC RF exposure requirements and should be avoided. Contact your local dealer for optional accessory items. Vehicle Mounted External Antenna (optional, if available.) A minimum separation distance of 7.9 inches (20cm) must be maintained between a person and the vehicle mounted external antenna to satisfy FCC RF exposure requirements. For more information about RF exposure, please visit the FCC web site at www .fcc.gov 23 USING THE MENUS Accessing Menu Functions by Scrolling .................................................. 42 Accessing Menu Functions by Using its Shortcut .................................... 43 List of Menu Functions ......................................................................... 44 CALLS Outgoing(MENU 1-1) ................................................................... 47 Incoming (MENU 1-2) ................................................................... 48 Missed (MENU 1-3) ....................................................................... 48 Erase Logs (MENU 1-4) ................................................................. 48 Air Time (MENU 1-5) .................................................................... 49 PHONE BOOK Find Name(MENU 2-1)................................................................ 50 Add Entry (MENU 2-2).................................................................. 51 Find Entry (MENU 2-3)................................................................... 54 Relation Search (MENU 2-4) ..........................................................…

DESCRIPTION OF TEST EQUIPMENT 3.1 SAR Measurement Setup Robotic System Measurements are performed using the DASY3 automated dosimetric assessment system. Which is made by Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG) in Zurich, Switzerland and consists of high precision robotics system (Stäubli), robot controller, Pentium III computer, near-field probe, probe alignment sensor, and the SAM twin phantom containing the brain equivalent material. The robot is a six-axis industrial robot performing precise movements to position the probe to the location (points) of maximum electromagnetic field (EMF) (see Fig. 3.1). Figure 3.1 SAR Measurement System Setup System Hardware A cell controller system contains the power supply, robot controller, teach pendant (Joystick), and a remote control is used to drive the robot motors. The PC consists of the Samsung Pentium III 550MHz computer with Windows 2000 system and SAR Measurement Software DASY3, A/D interface card, LCD monitor, mouse and keyboard. The Stäubli Robot is connected to the cell controller to allow software manipulation of the robot. A data acquisition electronic (DAE) circuit that performs the signal amplification, signal multiplexing, AD-conversion, offset measurements, mechanical surface detection, collision detection, etc. is connected to the Electro-optical coupler (EOC). The EOC performs the conversion from the optical into digital electric signal of the DAE and transfers data to the PC plug-in card. 5 of 25 System Electronics The DAE3 consists of a highly sensitive electrometer-grade preamplifier with auto-zeroing, a channel and gain-switching multiplexer, a fast 16-bit AD-converter and a command decoder and control logic unit. Transmission to the PC-card is accomplished through an optical downlink for data and status information and an optical uplink for commands and clock lines. The mechanical probe mounting device includes two different sensor systems for frontal and sidewise probe contacts. They are also used for mechanical…

The site address is 6660-B Dobbin Road, Columbia, MD 21045. The test site is one of the highest points in the Columbia area with an elevation of 390 feet above mean sea level. The site coordinates are 39 ° 11'15" N latitude and 76 ° 49'38" W longitude. The facility is 1.5 miles North of the FCC laboratory, and the ambient signal and ambient signal strength are approximately equal to those of the FCC laboratory. There are no FM or TV transmitters within 15 miles of the site. The detailed description of the measurement facility was found to be in compliance with the requirements of § 2.948 according to ANSI C63.4 on October 19, 1992. Measurement Procedure The radiated and spurious measurements were made outdoors at a 3-meter test range (see Figure2). The equipment under test is placed on a wooden turntable 3-meters from the receive antenna. The receive antenna height and turntable rotations were adjusted for the highest reading on the receive spectrum analyzer. A half- wave dipole was substituted in place of the EUT. This dipole antenna was driven by a signal generator and the level of the signal generator was adjusted to obtain the same receive spectrum analyzer reading. This level is recorded.
