Health and Safety WARNING! To avoid electri c shock and damage to your device, do not charge device whil e it is wet or in an area where it could get wet. Do not handle device, charger or cords with wet hands whil e charging. Maintaining dust and water resistance The device is not impervious to dust and water damage in any situation. It is important that all compartments are closed tightly. Follow these tip s carefully to prevent damage to the device and maintain dust and water resistance performance: • Water re sistant based on IP68 rating, which tests submersion in fre sh water deeper than 1.5 meters or keep it submerged for more than 30 minutes. If device is exposed to fresh water, dry it thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth; if exposed to liquid other than fre sh water, rinse with fresh water and dry as directed. • Any device which uses accessible compar tments or por ts that can be opened should have th ese sealed or closed tightly to prevent liquid from entering th e system. • If th e device has been immersed in water or th e microphone or speaker is wet, sound may not be heard clearly during a call. After wipi ng th e device with a dry cloth, dry it thoroughly before using it. • Do not expose th e device to water at high pressure. • If th e device is dropped or receives an impact, th e water and dust resistant features of th e device may be damaged. Note: Liquid other than fre sh water may enter th e device fa ster. Visit www.samsung.com to view device information, the user manual, and more. To turn on the device, press and hold the Power key for a few seconds. Installing a nano-SIM card and a microSD card Insert the ejection pin into the hole next to the tray to loosen the tray. Gently press the card into the tray to secure it. Charging the battery Before using the device for the first time, you must charge the battery. Using the Home button When you turn on the screen, the Home button will appear at the bottom of the screen as a soft button. Correct disposal Safety information Read all safety information before using the device to ensure safe and proper use. Warning Follow the warning information provided below to prevent incidents such as fire or explosion •Do not expose the device to physical impact or damage. •Use manufacturer-approved batteries, chargers, accessories, and supplies. •Prevent the multipurpose jack and battery terminals from contacting conductive elements, such as metal or liquids. •If any part of the device, such as the glass or acrylic body, is broken, smokes, or emits a burning odor, stop using the device immediately. Use the device again only after it has been repaired at a Samsung Service Centre. •Do not turn on or use the device when the battery compartment is exposed. THIS DEVICE MEETS INTERNATIONAL GUIDELINES FOR EXPOSURE TO RADIO WAVES Your mobile is designed not to exceed the limits for exposure to radio waves recommended by international guidelines.
