Accessory THE FOLLOWING APPLIES IN THE U.S.A. AND CANADAThis device complies with Part 15 of FCC Rules and RSS-Gen of IC Rules.Operation is subject to the following two conditions:(1) This device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of this device. This transmitter must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. This product is restricted to indoor use due to its operation in the 5.15 to 5.25 GHz frequency range.FCC and IC require this product to be used indoors for the frequency range 5.15 to 5.25 GHz to reduce the potential for harmful interference to co-channel Mobile Satellite systems. High power radars are allocated as primary users of the 5.25 to 5.35 GHz a nd 5.65 to 5.85 GHz bands. These radar stations can cause interference with and/or damage this product. The available scientific evidence does not show that any health problems are associated with using low power wireless devices. There is no proof, however, that these low power wireless devices are absolutely safe. Low power Wireless devices emit low levels of radio frequency energy (RF) in the microwave range while being used. Whereas high levels of RF can produce health effects (by heating tissue), exposure to low-level RF that does not produce heating effects causes no known adverse health effects. Many studies of low-level RF exposures have not found any biological effects. Some studies have suggested that some biological effects might occur, but such findings have not been confirmed by additional research. Wireless LAN adaptor (DY-WL10) has been tested and found to comply with FCC/IC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled equipment and meets the FCC radio frequency (RF) Exposure Guidelines in Supplement C to OET65 and RSS-102 of the IC radio frequency (RF) Exposure rules. ENGLISH THE FOLLOWING APPLIES ONLY IN THE U.S.A.FCC Note:This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equ ipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harm ful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encoura ged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:≥ Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. ≥ Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. ≥ Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit d…

Evaluation procedure The evaluation was performed with the following procedure: Step 1: Measurement of the E-field at a fixed location above the ear point or central position of flat phantom was used as a reference value for assessing the power drop. Step 2: The SAR distribution at the exposed side of head or body position was measured at a distance of each device from the inner surface of the shell. The area covered the entire dimension of the antenna of EUT and the horizontal grid spacing was 15 mm x 15 mm . Based on these data, the area of the maximum absorption was determined by spline interpolation. Step 3: Around this point found in the Step 2 (area scan), a volume of 28mm x 28mm x 22.5mm was assessed by measuring 8 x 8 x 10 points for IEEE802.11a/n(5G) and for any secondary peaks found in the Step2 which are within 2dB of maximum peak (level more than ambient noise (> 0.012 W/kg)) and not with this Step3 (Zoom scan) is repeated. On the basis of this data set, the spatial peak SAR value was evaluated under the following procedure: (1). The data at the surface were extrapolated, since the center of the dipoles is 1mm away from the tip of the probe and the distance between the surface and the lowest measuring point is 1.3 mm. Therefore minimum distance of probe sensor from surface was set to the 2mm. The extrapolation was based on a least square algorithm [4]. A polynomial of the fourth order was calculated through the points in z-axes. This polynomial was then used to evaluate the points between the surface and the probe tip. (2). The maximum interpolated value was searched with a straightforward algorithm. Around this maximum the SAR values averaged over the spatial volumes (1 g or 10 g) were computed by the 3D-Spline interpolation algorithm. The 3D-Spline is composed of three one-dimensional splines with the “Not a knot"-condition (in x, y and z-directions) [4], [5]. The volume was integrated with the trapezoidal-algorithm. One thousand points (10 x 10 x 10) were interpolated to calculate the average. (3). All neighboring volumes were evaluated until no neighboring volume with a higher average value was found. Step 4: Re-measurement of the E-field at the same location as in Step 1. Test report No. : 29LE0211-HO-02-G Page : 44 of 145 Issued date : November 16, 2009 FCC ID : ACJ-DY-WL10 UL Japan, Inc. Dosimetry assessment setup These measurements were performed with the automated near-field scanning system DASY4 from Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG). The system is based on a high precision robot (working range greater than 0.9 m), which positions the probes with a positional repeatability of better than +/- 0.02 mm. Special E- and H-field probes have been developed for measurements close to material discontinuity, the sensors of which are directly loaded with a Schottky diode and connected via highly resistive lines to the data acquisition unit. The SAR measurements were conducted with the dosimetry probe EX3DV3, SN: 3507(manufactured by SPEAG), designed in the classical triangular configuration and optimized for dosimetric evaluation. The probe has been calibrated according to the procedure described in [2] with accuracy of better than +/-10%. The spherical isotropy was evaluated with the procedure described in [3] and found to be better than +/-0.25 dB. The phantom used was the SAM Twin Phantom as described in FCC supplement C, IEEE P1528 and CENELEC EN50361. Configuration and peripherals The DASY4 system for performing compliance tests consist of the following items: 1. A standard high precision 6-axis robot (Stäubli RX family) with controller and software. An arm extension for accommodating the data acquisition electronics (DAE). 2. A dosimetric probe, i.e., an isotropic E-field probe optimized and calibrated for usage in tissue simulating liquid. The probe is equipped with an optical surface detector system. 3. A data acquisition electronic (DAE), which performs the signal amplification, signal multiplexing, AD-conversion, offset measurements, mechanical surface detection, collision detection, etc. The unit is battery powered with standard or rechargeable batteries. The signal is optically transmitted to the EOC. 4. The Electro-optical converter (EOC) performs the conversion between optical and electrical of the signals for the digital communication to the DAE and for the analog signal from the optical surface detection.
