What’s Included One (1) Radio Frequency Dongle for XPAND YOUniversal Electronic 3D Eyewear Pairing the RF Dongle 1. Turn on the RF display device. 2. Plug the dongle into YOUniversal 3D Eyewear before turning the eyewear on. 3. Turn the eyewear on by pressing the button on the eyewear. The “X” LED light on the eyewear will ramp up to indicate power on. 4. Ensure that your RF display device and eyewear are no further than 50 cm (20 in) apart. 5. Press and hold the button on the eyewear for 3 seconds to initiate the auto detect mode. The “X” LED light on the Eyewear will start blinking to indicate that the auto detect mode has been initiated. It might take up to ~10 seconds for the pairing to be complete. o On some RF display device models the message “3D glasses are connected to the TV” will be shown on the display to indicate that the pairing is complete. 6. Enjoy the 3D experience with your YOUniversal 3D Eyewear. Reconnecting the RF Dongle* 1. Turn on the RF display device. 2. Plug the dongle into YOUniversal 3D Eyewear before turning the eyewear on. 3. Turn the eyewear on by pressing the button on the eyewear. The “X” LED light on the eyewear will ramp up to indicate power on. 4. Wait for up to 15 seconds for the eyewear to automatically reconnect. 5. Enjoy the 3D experience with your YOUniversal 3D Eyewear. * Please note: The reconnect procedure applies only if the dongle has been paired before with that particular RF display device. Regulatory Compliance Statement This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. • Connect the equipment into an output on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
