1 Mike Kuo From: Petruska, Steve [[email protected]] Sent: April192004Monday 1:41 PM To: 'Mike Kuo' Subject: RE: Sharp Corporation FCC ID:APYDMR0144, Assessment no:AN04T3860 Cover Letter.pdf Hi Mike, Question #1: The test report contains test setup diagrams (pages 5 and 6) instead of photos. This has been accepted by the FCC in the past. We currently do not have setup photos from this testing, can you accept the diagrams for this application and in the future we will make sure actual photos are included? Question #2: Attached is a revised cover letter. 1200W is the correct output power rating; the reference to 1000W was a typographical error. Question #3: We understand there were no emissions exceeding the permissible FIS valve at frequencies above 10288 MHz. We have submitted M/O test reports investigating to the 4th harmonic in the past and they were accepted by the FCC's review of the application. Please advise if you can accept it this time and we will ensure that investigation up to the 10th harmonic is documented in future applications. Best regards, Steve Petruska Sharp Electronics Corp. -----Original Message----- From: Mike Kuo [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, April 19, 2004 2:44 PM To: '[email protected]' Subject: FW: Sharp Corporation FCC ID:APYDMR0144, Assessment no:AN04T3860 -----Original Message----- From: CERTADM Sent: Monday, April 19, 2004 11:42 AM To: Mike Kuo Subject: Sharp Corporation FCC ID:APYDMR0144, Assessment no:AN04T3860 Notice_content ------------- Question #1: Please provide test setup photos. Question #2: In the page 4 of cover letter, EUT is defined as 1000 W microwave oven which does not match technical specification in page 37 of user manual ( 1200 W ). Please make necessary correction. Question #3: As indicated in the test report, the highest frequency range investigated is 4th harmonic. Based upon section 18.309(a), the device should be investigated up to 10th harmonic of fundamental frequency. Please provide additional test data. Best Regards 2 Mike Kuo The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced application. Failure to provide the requested information within 30 days of the original e-mail date may result in application dismissal and forfeiture of the filing fee. Also, please note that partial responses increase processing time and should not be submitted.
