1 Helen Zhao Subject:FW: Sharp Corporation , FCC ID: APYDMR0162, Assessment NO.: AN05T4764, Notice#1 From: Yan Zheng Sent: Wednesday, May 04, 2005 12:32 PM Subject: RE: Sharp Corporation , FCC ID: APYDMR0162, Assessment NO.: AN05T4764, Notice#1 Please check the answer from Hitesh below. Thanks! Regards, -Yan Question #1: Test report - magnetron name: The test report refers to 2M253H all the time, however the internal photos show the magnetron name should be 2M253J(L). Please verify which name is correct and make necessary correction. ANS. - DONE. Question #2: Test Report - RF output power: Please revisit the formula used for calculating the RF output power. The values listed in the table are incorrect. Please recalculate the RF output power. ANS. - CORRECTED. Question #3: Test Report - Radiated spurious emission limit: the limit is associated with measured RF output power. Since you need to recalculate RF output power (Q2), please recalculate the radiated spurious emission limit and apply the new limit in section 6.5 Radiated emisssion. ANS. - CORRECTED Question #4: Test Report - Section 6.5.1 Radiated emission below 1GHz: if there is any offset used during the test, please indicate in the test report. ANS. - CHANGES MADE IN THE RADIATED EMISSIONS SECTION Question #5: Test Report - Section 6.5.2 Radiated emission above 1GHz: Test data with Magnetron 2M167B uses 74dBuv/m as peak limit and 54dBuV/m as Avg limit, which is incorrect. Test data with magnetron 2M253H is a plot that belongs to other project. Please check the report again. ANS.- CHANGES MADE Best Regards, Helen Zhao The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced application.
