ValenceTech Bluetooth module for OSIM uDivine 1 INTRODUCTION The ValenceTech Bluetooth module for OSIM uDivine offers the communication between OSIM uDivine and Apple iOS device via Class 2 Bluetooth system v2.1+EDR. The primary components include CSR BM150 Bluetooth module, MCU, optical coupler, LDO and Apple’s authentication IC. HARDWARE Specifications Frequency Band: 2.4GHz ~ 2.48GHz unlicensed band Power: from uDivine Main Board Interfaces : 8 connectors – CN1, CN2 4-pins (1 x 4 connector 2.50mm pitch) CN3, CN4 3-pins (1 x 3 connector 2.50mm pitch) CN5, 8 5-pins (1 x 5 connector 2.50mm pitch) CN6 7-pins (1 x 7 connector 2.0mm pitch) CN7 6-pins (1 x 6 connector 2.54mm pitch) Bluetooth System: v2.1+EDR (Class 2) Modulation: only GFSK applied. ValenceTech Bluetooth module for OSIM uDivine 5 Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate using an antenna of a type and maximum (or lesser) gain approved for the transmitter by Industry Canada. To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so chosen that the equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is not more than that necessary for successful communication. As we can see from the test report SH12010366-001: The maximum P = 6.57dBm G = 1.00dBi EIRP = PG = 6.57 + 1.00 = 7.57dBm = 5.71mW The test exclusion limit = 60 / 2.5 = 24mW It is found the EIRP of EUT is lower than the test exclusion limit.
