The IDP-180 is an IDP-110 with a low profile (patch ) antenna. The IDP-190 is a IDP-110 with a low elevation ( quadifilar helix ) antenna. The IC number for this submission is 3745A-IDP1XX 2. Revision History Author Version Comment DR 1 3. Product Overview The IDP-180 and IDP-190 are a satellite modems that provide service for Inmarsat’s IsatData Pro. Both modems consist of active antenna and a core modem assembly (IDP-110). Active antenna is available in two option a) integrated with the modem card or b) in a remote configuration separated from the modem transceiver The integrated antenna is not environmentally sealed. Modems with an integrated antenna must be housed in a customer provided enclosure with appropriate water/dust ingress protection. The remote antenna for the IDP-180 and IDP-190 is IP67 rated for water and dust which permits the antenna to be placed outdoors. 3.1. IDP-180 Figure 2.3 and Figure 2.4 contain pictures the IDP-180 with integrated antenna and remote antenna product variants.
