Appendix: G Power Reduction Validation Model Number: A3575 Date:12/22/2025 P O W E R R E D U C T I O N V E R I F I C A T I O N This device supports power reduction for the cellular, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth transmitters. Power reduction is based on the RCVR status to determine head exposure (RCVR active indicating the earpiece is being used for audio) or body exposure (RCVR is off). There are additional power reduction mechanisms for the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth transmitters based on the operating state of the cellular and (for Bluetooth) Wi-Fi transmitters. Details of these mechanisms can be found in the Operational Description. The verification plan consists of measuring the power levels of the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi transmitters under different operating conditions to demonstrate that all three mechanisms (RCVR, cellular on/off and Wi-Fi on/off) trigger power reduction. A. Verification of power reduction levels for Wi-Fi was performed with RCVR on and off and with cellular transmitter on and off. B. Verification of power reduction levels for Bluetooth was performed with different combinations of RCVR on and off, cellular transmitter on and off and Wi-Fi transmitter on and off. For testing purposes, the device was loaded with a power table 1 for each transmitter that had different power settings for each of the operating states. The target / expected power level and measured power levels are detailed in the following tables and clearly show that mechanisms operate as expected. RLAN: Based on the utilization ratio, a power control algorithm will allow the active WLAN to increase power until the utilization ratio approaches the limit. The algorithm will then disable the power increase until the utilization ratio decreases. A predictive power control feature further ensures regulatory compliance by disabling all transmitters if there are any scenarios where aggregate maximum WLAN transmissions over the next 1-second interval could cause the utilization ratio to exceed the regulatory limit. Appendix: G Power Reduction Validation Model Number: A3575 Date:12/22/2025 Table 1 –Power Reduction and Cellular State validation for Wi-Fi Table 2 –Body Reduction and Cellular State validation for Bluetooth The power tables used for the mechanism validation may not match the production power tables detailed in the main SAR report because production power levels are not established at the time these measurements were made. Appendix H: Antenna Cluster Analysis This device supports Cellular Antenna Clustering for transmission of Power Mode B. Collocated cellular antennas with significant overlap of RF exposure hotspots are grouped into a single cluster. Non-collocated cellular antennas are grouped in a separate cluster. Non-collocated clusters operate with independent cellular budget allocations. This operation is managed by the cellular time-averaging implementation. Cellular antennas 1/3/7/9 are assigned to the Lower Antenna Cluster (AC1). Cellular antennas 2/4/8 are assigned to the Upper Antenna Cluster (AC2). All Antenna Clustering analysis was performed using a WWAN (AC1) + WWAN (AC2) combination. Connectivity was also considered to ensure total device compliance. Cellular Antennas Connectivity Antennas AC1AC2 ANT 1/3/7/9ANT 2/4/8 ANT 3/5ANT 4/6 The following procedure was performed in order to determine compliance for Simultaneous Analysis: 1. Sum of SAR: a. Sum of SAR is performed on all unique band and antenna combinations between AC1 and AC2. b. Any combination where the sum is ≀ the applicable RF exposure limit is validated and can be excluded from further evaluation. Any configuration where the sum is > the applicable RF exposure limit requires further evaluation per the following steps. 2. SPLSR: a. SPLSR is performed for combinations from Step 1 that are > the applicable RF exposure limit. b. The overall minimum separation distance between peak SAR points of each cluster is used for assessment, per each unique band combined. c. When the SPLSR calculation is ≀ the applicable published SPLSR limit, no further assessment is required. Any configuration where the SPLSR calculation is > the applicable published SPLSR limit requires further evaluation per the following step. 3. Multi-Tx Combined Measurement: a. Multi-Tx combined measurement is performed for combinations from Step 2 that are > the applicable published SPLSR limit. b. The area scans for each combination from Step 2 that was > the applicable published SPLSR limit were used. The combined area scan is used to determine the point of peak SAR. c. Zoom scans are performed for the overall worst case WWAN and Connectivity configurations from the Area Scan analysis, per each unique band combination, at the location with the highest peak SAR. These zoom scans are combined to determine the overall measured 1g aggregate SAR value. d. The overall measured 1g aggregate SAR value must be compliant to the regulatory SAR limit to validate non-collocation. Conclusion: When following the procedure outlined above, if the device is within the thresholds for any of the three steps, then the device is determined to be compliant for Simultaneous Analysis. 1.
