There will be 1 reference models having eith er 2 or 3 additional variant models, for a total of 3 or 4 models within a series. Test data for the reference model in a series will be referenced (reused) by its variant models. 2 Product Model Differences and Similarities The reference model and its variants differ mainly in the cellular bands they support. The reference and their variants have the same PCB layout, circuit design, common components, antennas, antenna locations and housing case dimension and material. Their cellular modem, Wi-Fi, BT, NFC and MSS transmitters are identical within a series. Power table and tune-up tolerance are the same for all models in the same group for all referenced data. Removal of mmWave (FR-2), sub-6GHz cellular bands and MSS transmitter are done by software and depopulation of band-specific components associated with the removed operation. 3 Spot-check Plan Apple Inc. takes responsibility for the fact that the test data as referenced represents valid data for demonstrating compliance for the variants, and for the application that will be filed. SAR, output power and radiated emissions will be validated for the variant model s following the test plan. To qualify for data referencing, all spot check data from a variant must be within the acceptance criteria specified in KDB 484596 D01. Specific air interface / band combinations that do not meet this criteria will be evaluated in full. This letter, the complete spot check plan and the spot check data will be provided as exhibits to the certification applications. The spot check plan includes detailed information comparing the reference and variant model construction, circuitry and capabilities.

Any removable label shall be of a type intended to survive normal shipping and handling and must only be removed by the customer after purchase. For devices imported already in individual packages ready for sale, the information may alternatively be provided on the package. It shall contain: 1. The FCC ID and/or the DoC logo (if applicable); and 2.
