A2282 Safety and Handling A2282 Handling Information Handle A2282 with care. It contains sensitive electronic components, including a battery, and can be damaged, impair functionality, or cause injury if dropped, burned, punctured, crushed, disassembled, or if exposed to excessive heat or liquid. Don’t use a damaged A2282. Don’t open the device, it does not have components that can be updated or maintained by the user. Use this device within a 0 °C to 30 °C temperature range. Cleaning To clean the outside of A2282, use a lint-free cloth. Don’t get moisture in any openings or use aerosol sprays, solvents, or abrasives. Battery Don’t attempt to replace the A2282 lithium-ion backup battery. This could cause injury. Battery Disposal and Recycling Information The lithium-ion batteries in your device should be recycled by Apple or an authorized service provider. For information about Apple lithium-ion batteries, go to www.apple.com/batteries. The symbol above indicates that this product and/or battery should not be disposed of with household waste. When you decide to dispose of this product and/or its battery, do so in accordance with local environmental laws and guidelines. Power Supply Charge A2282 with the included USB cable and a USB power adapter, or with other third-party “Made for iPhone” cables and power adapters that are compatible with USB 2.0 or later. Only charge with an adapter that is compliant with the applicable international and regional safety standards. Other adapters may not meet applicable safety standards, and charging with such adapters could pose a risk of death or injury. Using damaged cables or chargers, or charging when moisture is present, can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to A2282 or other property. Network Cables A2282 device is designed to operate with the one (1) provided Category-5 ethernet cable and standard ethernet cables with RJ45 connectors. High-Consequence Activities This device is not intended for use where the failure of the device could lead to death, personal injury, or severe environmental damage. Explosive and Other Atmospheric Conditions Charging or using the A2282 in any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere, such as areas where the air contains high levels of flammable chemicals, vapors, or particles (such as grain, dust, or metal powders), may be hazardous. Exposing A2282 to environments having high concentrations of industrial chemicals may damage or impair A2282 functionality. Obey all signs and instructions. Lightning Cable and Connector Avoid prolonged skin contact with the connector when the Lightning to USB Cable is connected to a power source because it may cause discomfort or injury. Sleeping or sitting on the Lightning connector should be avoided. Support For support and troubleshooting information, contact your Apple representative.
