This test was performed in the following mode of operation: 802.11ac VHT80. The equipment was set up as shown in the diagram below. The EUT and a 2nd client device were both connected to the DFS Master device. The 2nd client device was set to stream video directly to the EUT using the AirPlay protocol, while under the supervision of the DFS master (but without the DFS master re-transmitting the data packets). The channel loading was checked to ensure it was >17%. To calibrate the level of the radar at the input to the DFS Master, the DFS Master device was replaced by the spectrum analyser and the output of the vector signal generator adjusted to give -62 dBm. During in-service monitoring, the LE-LAN radar detection function continuously searches for radar signals between normal LE-LAN transmissions. Channel availability check time: the device shall check whether there is a radar system already operating on the channel before it initiates a transmission on a channel and when it moves to a channel. The device may start using the channel if no radar signal with a power level greater than the interference threshold value specified in Section 6.3.1 above is detected within 60 seconds. This requirement only applies in the master operational mode. Channel move time: after a radar signal is detected, the device shall cease all transmissions on the operating channel within 10 seconds. This device operates as both a very-low power (6VL) device and a dual-client (6CD) device with both low-power indoor access points and standard power access points utility for 6 GHz band operations as described in this filing. These modes of operation infer multiple restrictions of usage as detailed in this filing, the User Manual, and KDB 987594. For Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) relevant bands, the device operates as a client without radar detection only. This device supports WLAN 802.11 b/g/n/a/ac/ax in SISO and MIMO (2x2) configurations with, where applicable, 20, 40, 80, and 160 MHz BW modes and beamforming. Bluetooth v5.3, including HDR4, HDR8, plus backwards compatibility to v4.x LE and v2.x BR/EDR Specific Absorption Rate testing ensures human safety against a body configuration (1g) and yields the following maximum reported SAR values: standalone 1.150 W/kg, simultaneous operation 1.451 W/kg, against limits for General Population/Uncontrolled Exposure of 1.6 W/kg in accordance with FCC 47 CFR 1.1310. For above 6 GHz, an incidental power density (IPD) of 6.49 W/m2 was measured against a limit of 10.00 W/m2.
