Included in the Package DWD-300 U ser Manual Rev 1.0 US English Espa ñol F rançais 3 ENG Description of Parts LED Indicator Pairing Button Front Power Supply Port HDMI Port Back 4 ENG How to Use Installation Power Supply Port (Micro USB Cable (or Travel Adaptor)) HDMI Port USB Port TV or Monitor (or Travel Adator) • Attach the Micro USB cable to the power supply port on the DWD-300. • Attach the opposite end of the Micro USB cable to the supplied TA (Travel Adaptor) Head or a USB port on a laptop or PC. • Attach one end of the supplied HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the DWD-300 and the other end to a dis- play device (TV or monitor). 5 ENG Connection • When the DWD-300 has power, a white LED indicator will turn on. • While booting, the LG logo will appear on the screen of the TV or monitor. • DWD-300 must be connected to a WiFi Direct capable device in order to function. • Once initial booting is complete, “Ready to Connect” will appear on the screen of the TV or monitor indicat- ing DWD-300 has automatically entered into connect- able mode. NOTE: Once DWD-300 is in connectable mode, by pressing the Pairing Button, DWD-300 will exit the connectable mode and go to idle mode. While in idle mode, DWD-300 will re-enter into connectable mode for two(2) minutes by pressing the Pairing Button again. 6 ENG • Turn on WiFi Direct from the source device. (please note, this may disable all other WiFi settings) • Select ‘Miracast’ from the source device settings (consult your owner’s manual for instructions) • Press the Search soft key to begin a search of avail- able devices. • Select “LG DWD-300” from the list of devices to con- nect it with your source device. • “Connecting” animated picture will appear to show ongoing connection process. • Once the connection is successful, you will see the screen of the Miracast capable device on your TV or monitor. • If the connection is unsuccessful, the white LED indi- cator will flicker. 7 ENG Troubleshooting IssuePossible problemResolution DWD-300 does not turn on. Check whether the Micro USB cable is properly attached. Attach the Micro USB cable for power supply. Unable to connect the DWD-300 with the Miracast capable source device - Check and make sure the DWD- 300 is placed in connectable mode. - Check and make sure WiFi Direct is enabled on the source device. - With the power ON, press the Push Button two times (First one makes DWD-300 idle mode, and second one for making connectable mode) or try power cycling DWD-300. - Turn on WiFi Direct. An image does not appear or there is no vid- eo playback on the TV screen or monitor. Check whether the HDMI cable is at- tached correctly. TEST METHODOLOGY The measurement procedure described in the American National Standard for Methods of Measurement of Radio- Noise Emission from Low-Voltage Electrical and Electronic Equipment in the Range of 9kHz to 40GHz(ANSI C63.4- 2003) and KDB558074 4.1 EUT CONFIGURATION The EUT configuration for testing is installed on RF field strength measurement to meet the Commissions requirement and operating in a manner that intends to maximize its emission characteristics in a continuous normal application. 4.2 EUT EXERCISE The EUT was operated in the engineering mode to fix the Tx frequency that was for the purpose of the measurements.
