Please note that further comments may arise in response to answers provided to the questions below. 1. Please note that the 731 does not list the equipment description nor the rule parts for which the device is being certified. Please provide this information. 2. Please note that the application does not contain a Bluetooth Block diagram. Please provide a separate block diagram for the BT transmitter that is in accordance with 2.1033. 3. Please note that it is required that test setup photos be provided in a separate exhibit. Please provide the test setup photos as an exhibit by themselves. This is an FCC requirement. 4. Please note that the test report itself cannot be held in temporary confidential status. Please note that while you have listed the test setup photos as temporarily confidential, these test setup photos are in the test report - as such they will be publicly viewable. If the setup photos are desired to be held in temporary confidentiality status you will have to remove them from the test report. 5. FYI - Please note that while page 9 of the manual deals with the International SAR information and pages 80 and 81 deal with US SAR, page 9 does mention that the SAR test equipment used was the Dasy3. The SAR report however, if from a Dasy4 system. Please note that documentation needs to be consistent in all applications. 6. Please note that there is no indication that the BT device was active during any of the worse case SAR configurations. Please note that the FCC requires that test data be provided for both the BT active and not active during the worse case configuration. Please provide the test data and plots showing the BT active for the worse case head and body SAR configurations. If this configuration was not tested, please retest showing the BT device active. 7. Please note that the FCC has stated and continues to require that when using conducted power the values between the EMC report and the SAR report must be within +/-0.5dB. Please note that the conducted power listed in the SAR report states it was 30dBm while the highest conducted power in the EMC report was 29.48. Please note that other frequencies show considerably greater differences (up to almost 1dB). Please provide SAR and EMC conducted data that is within the required FCC variance allowance. Please retest SAR and/or EMC to show less than 0.5dB difference between conducted power levels. 8. Please provide the required operational description for the BT transmitter.
