Flammable materials may explode and result in fire or property damage. • Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance. • Never place combustible items on the cooktop. • Never keep any combustible items or aerosol cans in a drawer located under the cooktop. • When heating fat or grease, watch it closely. Fat or grease may catch fire if allowed to become too hot. • Overheated fats and oils catch fire quickly. You should supervise cooking when preparing foods in fat or oil. • Use a deep fat thermometer, if possible, to prevent overheating fat beyond the smoking point. • If the surface is cracked, switch off the appliance to avoid the possibility of electric shock.
