It is self- powered having its own power supply and needs an external AC power source. The USB tilt/swivel stand provides up to seven downstream ports of you to connect USB compliant options. All downstream ports support both full- and low-speed operations. You install the USB tilt/swivel stand instead of the normal tilt/swivel stand that comes with your monitor. If your monitor already has a stand installed on it, you will need to remove this stand first, before installing the USB tilt/swivel stand. Tilt/Swivel Stand Installation Removing a Previously Installed Tilt/Swivel Stand To remove the stand already installed on your monitor, pull on the latch or other mechanism to remove the stand. Refer to your monitor installation guide for specific instructions. Installing the USB Tilt/Swivel Stand To install the tilt/swivel stand: Insert the hooks on the stand into the bottom of the monitor. Apply pressure near the back of the bash so it slides forward and become secure. Set the monitor on the stand. Connect the power unit to back of the tilt/swivel stand and to the power source. 2 Figure 1. USB Tilt/Swivel Stand Installation on Typical Monitor USB Tilt/Swivel Stand Specifications • Fully compliant with USB Specification 1.0 • Maximum of 7 down-stream ports available • Full Speed and Low Speed Operation • Individual or Global over current protection • Fully compliant with both UHCI and OHCI • One internal down-stream port for monitor if desired • Weight: 5.5 Kg (12.1 lbs) • Height: 8.6 cm (3.37 in) • Width: 27.9 cm (11.0 in) • Depth: 28.6 cm (11.25 in)

These measurement tests were conducted at PCTEST Engineering Laboratory, Inc. facility in New Concept Business Park, Guilford Industrial Park, Columbia, Maryland. The site address is 6660-B Dobbin Road, Columbia, MD 21045. The test site is one of the highest points in the Columbia area with an elevation of 390 feet above mean sea level. The site coordinates are 39° 11'15" N latitude and 76° 49'38" W longitude. The facility is 1.5 miles North of the FCC laboratory, and the ambient signal and ambient signal strength are approximately equal to those of the FCC laboratory. There are no FM or TV transmitters within 15 miles of the site. The detailed description of the measurement facility was found to be in compliance with the requirements of § 2.948 according to ANSI C63.4 on October 19, 1992. 1.2 PCTEST Location The map at right shows the location of the PCTEST Lab, its proximity to the FCC Lab, the Columbia vicinity area, the Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) airport, and the city of Baltimore, and the Washington, D.C. area.
