Office: GÖTEBORG TO WHOM SO EVER IT MAY CONCERN Gothenburg, 30 th November 2011 SIMILARITIES and DIFFERENCES BETWEEN DB1 AND IPBS2 This letter is to explain the electrical similarities and differences between DB1 and IPBS2 DECT Base Stations. Similarities: - All radio parts from base band, all the way to antennas are identical from a schematic and layout perspective. This has also been verified at Gerber file level. - BMC (Burst Mode Controller) for radio is the same, but there are some differences how memories are interfaced. - Identical antennas positioned at the same location on the PCB. Differences: - In general, all function-blocks except radio are different. - Power blocks contain similar types of DC/DC converters and LDO’s, but with different rating.
