Overview This specification covers Bluetoot h module(class-2), which complies with Bluetooth specification version 2.0 and integrates RF, Baseband, and Flash in a small package. This module has deployed CSR's BC04 External (BC417143B) chipset. 2. Major Features -, Bluetooth Spec. v2.0 Complaint -, Class 2 Level Output Power Available (Max. 4dBm) -, Full Speed Bluetooth operation with Piconet and Scatternet support -, Support of Low power modes: Park, Sniff and Hold -, 8 Mbit of Flash -, UART, USB, SPI Interface Available 3. External Appearance 1) Marking should be in clear and distinguishable characters. - No dim, spread, cut and erased marking. 2) Appearance should be managed as specified below: - No press (depth 0.1mm, length 5mm under). - No different substance, corros ion, distortion, discoloration etc. - Maintenance of the original condition (Case's edge, binding between cover and chassis). - Size must be as drawn in physical dimension diagram. 4. The Samsung Electro-Mechanics Co., Bluetooth module BTEP45C2GA is seeking FCC authorization as a modular transmitter. The requirements of the FCC Public notice DA00-1407 are met. The following requirements are fulfilled: 1. The modular transmitter must have its own RF shielding The radio portion of the module is contained in its own RF shielding. See enclosed product photos in exhibit “external Photos”. 2. The modular transmitter must have buffered modulation/data inputs The module has a memory management unit inside of the IC and external. It buffers the data inputs from UART and USB terminal. 3. The modular transmitter must have its own power supply regulation The IC contains an own voltage regulation. In case of changes in the supply voltage VCC (for example caused by temperature changes or other effects), the internal voltage will be stabilized. 4. The modular transmitter must comply with the antenna requirements of Section 15.203 and 15.204c The unit is intended for use with listed antenna type as noted in the test report. or with an antenna that has less antenna gain. Requirements for the use of external antennas are specified in Exhibit Declaration about antenna configurations BTEP45C2GA. The modular transmitter was tested in a stand-alone configuration. The module was fixed in the Development Kit during the test. See also test setup photos in test report (Exhibit Test Report FCC Part 15.247). 6. The modular transmitter must be labelled with its own FCC ID number The EUT will be labelled with its own FCC ID number. The label is specified in Exhibit “Label Sample/Loc”. If the module is installed inside of an end-product, the label will not be visible. In this case the OEM customer will be instructed to how to apply the exterior label. 7. The modular transmitter must comply with any specific rule or operating requirements applicable to the transmitter and the manufacturer must provide adequate instructions along with the module to explain any such requirements. The EUT is compliant with all applicable FCC rules. Detail instructions are given in the product Users Guide 8. The modular transmitter must comply with any applicable RF exposure requirements. The device and its antenna must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. This OEM module is approved for use in products operating as mobile and portable transmitting device with respect to 2.1091 and 2.1093. This grant is valid only when the device is sold to OEM integrators. OEM manufacturers and OEM integrators are instructed to ensure that the end may not be provided with the module installation instructions. OEM integrators and End-users must be provided with transmitter operating conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance.
