The equipment is tuned at the factory before shipment. Each SDR-T- 001-438 exciter goes through an automatic tune station to be calibrated in power, modulation deviation and frequency error. Tune information for the exciter is stored in non-volatile memory and a record is kept by the manufacturer. If during an annual maintenance check, the exciter’s calibration is found to be off, we recommend to the end user to come into contact with our field support group and initiate an RMA request.
