August 20, 2000 Federal Communications Commission 7435 Oakland Mills Rd Columbia, MD 21045 In re: Theimeg Inc. Application for certification, FCC ID EWTTC100-200 Correspondence Reference Numbers: 14691 and 14782 Att: Mr. Andy Leimer & Ms. Jaunice Green Gentlemen and Ladies, Theimeg Inc. is asking for an extension of time in which to reply to various issues raised in your correspondence dated 6/21/2000 and 6/27/2000. The delay has been the result of a corporate reorganization that is, among other things, shifting the responsibility for this product from the United States corporate office to the corporate head office in Germany which is undergoing a name change. Theimeg is requesting a 60 day extension of time to provide the information requested in the above referenced correspondence from the Lab. If you need further information, please let me know. Operational Description

Operational Description: The TC100-200 transmitter is a hand held remote control transmitter used in conjunction with a separate receiver to control the movement of various types of heavy equipment. It uses dual control with a microprocessor that converts the input data to commands with the address and CRC code. A second microprocessor performs a security check and controls the main processor. It is manually activated and automatically cuts off when released. Microprocessors use a 4.9 MHz crystal clock frequency. The VCO system uses a 12.8 MHz crystal to control the frequency through a standard multiplier/divider chain using a PLL. The signal from the PLL is phase modulated, amplified and filtered before transmission. The unit contains a separate voltage regulator to maintain a constant voltage to all components.
