Forward Electronic RF wireless Keyboard & Optical Mouse User Guide The content of this manual is subject to change without notification. Copyright © Dec., 2002. All rights reserved. Introduction. Your life will be more convenient because of Forward wireless RF keyboard & Optical mouse. Suggest System Requirements: 1. Intel Pentium 90 or higher 2. Microsoft Win 98/2000/ME/XP 3. USB 1.0 or higher 4. 16MB RAM or higher Package Contents: 1. Keyboard 2. Palm rest 3. Mouse 4. Receiver (USB) 5. Batteries (AA*4) 6. User manual Installation: Before the installation start, please turn off your PC/ laptop PC 1. Install the batteries. Keyboard Mouse 2. To install on USB: Find an available USB port and plug in the USB connector. (For Windows OS, you maybe prompted to insert the Windows software CD. Insert CD into the CD Rom drive, then, follow the on-screen instruction. 3. Making connection: i. Press the receiver ‘Learn’ button until the LED flash slowly. ii. Press the keyboard ‘ID’ button to connect with receiver(the LED will flash quickly) iii. Press the mouse ‘ID’ button to connect with receiver(the LED will flash quickly) iv. When finished the procedure, then the RF keyboard and mouse can be operated like general keyboard and mouse. 4. Troubleshooting: Keyboard/mouse do not work. i. Check the batteries ii. Check the receiver’s cable connections. iii. Press the connect button on the receiver, then press the connect button on the keyboard and mouse. (To ensure the connection is probably, please check the distance between receiver and keyboard/mouse is under 1.0 meters) iv. Maker sure the USB port has the proper configuration. Refer to your computer documentation for correct port configuration. You may also have other system devices for conflicts. Please change the setting as required. Warranty: Limited warranty of twelve months is provided by manufacture since the date of produced. FCC Requirements Radio & Television Interference This device complies with Part 15 FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference. (2) This device must accept any interference received including interference that may cause undesired operation." Warning: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy, and if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communication. However,, there is no equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: 1). Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. 2). Increase the distance between the equipments and receiver. 3). Connect the equipment into a separate power outlet from which the receiver is connected. 4). Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for soulation. Note: 1. The changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user authority to operate the equipments. 2. Shielded interface cable and A.C. power cord, if any, must be used in order to comply with the emission limits.
