Dear Application Examiner; SEIKAKU TECHNICAL GROUP LIMITED is seeking full modular approval for module. The radio meets the requirements for modular approval as detailed in FCC 15.212. Compliance to each of the requirements is described below; 1. “The radio elements must have the radio frequency circuitry shielded” Yes, the modular transmitter has shield. 2. “The module must have buffered modulation/data inputs to ensure that the device will comply with Part 15 requirements with any type of input signal” Yes, the modular transmitter has buffered modulation/data inputs ensure compliance with Part 15 under conditions of excessive data rates or over-modulation. All inputs are buffered through logic or microprocessor inputs. 3. “The module must contain power supply regulation on the module” Yes, the modular transmitter has its own power supply regulation in the form of a low drop-out regulator providing 3.3V supply voltage to the board independently if the board is powered by the on-board battery or an external source. 4. “The module must contain a permanently attached antenna, or contain a unique antenna connector, and be marketed and operated only with specific antenna(s), per §§ 15.203, 15.204(b), 15.204(c), 15.212(a), 2.929(b)” Yes, Antenna permanently attached. 5. “The module must demonstrate compliance in a stand-alone configuration” Yes, the module complies to Part 15 in a stand-alone configuration 6. “The module must be labelled with its permanently affixed FCC ID label” Yes, the modular transmitter is labelled with its own FCC ID number. Because the modular transmitter may be installed inside another device, rendering its own label invisible, the integration guide of the modular transmitter informs that the host device must visibly display the necessary text (Contains FCC ID: H38-RABT-ATS2819) on the outside of the finished product. 7. “The module must comply with all specific rules applicable to the transmitter, including all the conditions provided in the integration instructions by the grantee” Yes, the module is compliant with all applicable FCC rules. Instructions for maintaining compliance are given in the integration guide. 8. “The module must comply with RF exposure requirements” Yes, the module is compliant with all applicable RF exposure requirements.
