TX-840 FOUR-BUTTON TRANSMITTER The TX840 transmitter is a replacement RF transmitter. The transmitter comes with 4 push-button switches (Arm / Disarm / Trunk release / Snowflake button). 1) Press Lock button switch on control to arm your car and lock the door 2) Press Unlock button switch on control to disarm your car and unlock the door 3) Press the Trunk release button to activate trunk release or combine with lock button or unlock button or snowflake button for output channel #4, #5, #6 activation. 4) Remote start β press Snowflake button 4 for 2 second to remote start the vehicle, press the same button again for stop the remote engine start TRANSMITTER BATTERY REPLACEMENT If the range of your transmitter deteriorate, it is possible that you need to replace the battery. 1) Release the screw from the back of transmitter and remove upper transmitter case. 2) Remove old battery from transmitter. 3) Install a new battery (12 volt) noting the (+) and (-) marks in the battery area of the transmitter. 4) Replace upper transmitter case with area, do not damage the inside components. 5) Tighten the screw on the back of transmitter. TX840 Operational Description The car alarm transmitter is a low powered, hand held unit for remote controlling the car locks and other features. See the function descriptions in attached. The transmitter is powered by 2~3 volt battery. It is designed to operated on a single fixed frequency at 433.92 MHz. See the attached block diagram and schematic. There are 4 buttons trigger the integrated circuit (U1) which produces the digital control signals and will modulate the carrier signal. The carrier signal is generated by a 13.56mhz crystal / FSK transmitter IC circuit composed The modulated output of RF is coupled to the coil. All tuning and verification are performed by the manufacture and there are no adjustments can be made by the user. No external ground is required or used with this transmitter.
