Remove the CD from the CD-ROM drive and shut down your computer. Note: Be sure to properly exit your Windows OS by clicking “Start” >“Shut Down”.6. Follow the directions in Step 2 to install the Card inside of your computer. Step 2: Installing the Card into Your PC for Windows 98,Me, 2000, and XP1. POWER OFF THE COMPUTER AND DISCONNECT THE POWER CORD. 2. Remove the screws that secure the computer cover and remove the cover. 3. Touch any metal part of the case. This will discharge any static electricity that could damage your product or your computer. 4. Locate an empty PCI expansion slot. 5. Confirm that the Card will fit into the slot you have chosen. Keep inmind that the included antenna needs to be oriented with the toppointing up. If there are cables and other connectors in the way, try to pick the PCI slot that has the fewest obstructions to the correct positioning of the antenna. 6. The Manual on pp. 20 of 21 does not include any prohibitions on co-location. Please revise manual. 4.) Both the Manual and Product Description define the antenna connector as a reverse threaded SMA. However, this is not apparent from close up examination of the photographs. Please submit either a line drawing or more detailed photograph of the connector. 5.) Two antennas are indicated in the Manual, but only one is defined in the RF Exposure report. Please provide specifications including gain on each antenna. The antenna is Dipole Antenna, and the antenna connector is Reversed SMA antenna connector. Under normal use condition, the user has to keep at least 20cm separation distance between radiator and the body of the user. The other instruction, please have a look at the users manual. DSSS Information This device is Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum, the data is mixed by pseudorandom code which is an orthogonal code. The mixed data is digital modulated by BPSK and QPSK technique depends on the data rates. The CCK coding is applied for increasing the data rate, and also the processing gain will be increased. The bit rates are 1,2,5.5,11Mbps, the symbol rates are 1,1,1.375,1.375Mbps, the chip rates are always 11Mbps. So, the Chip/symbol is 11,11,8 and 8 respectively. Although is higher bit rate, the processing gain is lower than 10, but the CCK coding used in higher bit rate will provide 2.2dB coding gain.

Introduction 2.4 GHz frequency band is regarded specially as a dangerous band for its heating harmfulness to the human body. That’s why microwave oven is operating in this frequency band. The manufacturer whose product is working in this frequency band is obligatory to prove the harmfulness of his product. In this document, we try to prove the safety of radiation harmfulness to the human body for our product. The limit for Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) specified in FCC 1.1310 is followed. The Gain of the antenna used in this product is measured in a Fully Anechoic Chamber (FAC), and the maximum total power input to the antenna is measured. Through the Friis transmission formula and the maximum gain of the antenna, we can calculate the distance, away from the product, where the limit of MPE is reached. 2. Classification The antenna of the product, under normal use condition, is at least 20 cm away from the body of the user. Warning statement for keeping 20 cm separation distance and the prohibition of operating next to a person has been printed on the users manual. So, this product is classified as the Mobile Device. 3.
